I have been asked by many people around the village where I live to tutor in English conversation. Do I need a work permit or license?

I remember this happening about 5-6 years ago. Nothing ever eventuated though.

In Australia the Taxi's have live camera's keeping an eye on the passengers, maybe here they should have them keeping an eye on the drivers.

I've practically been molested by katooey while walking down the street in Thailand (in Vientiane too). It really pisses me off. If I walked up to a girl and touched her the way they grab a hold of me, it would be considered assault. Anybody else run into this problem?

Vientiane is the worst for katooey, I have never been anywhere so bad. But I do enjoy Laos apart from that.

But the Government said "there will be.............". I forget what they said. They say so many things.

Why should Thailand be concerned about a Malaysian Business Man. Malaysia certainly didn't help capture Thaksin when everyone was in hot persuit. They just let him stay there and be on his merry way.

I make natural soaps and use sodium hydroxide, which is widely available at most plumbing shops. KOH is a little harder to find and zinc, sorry no idea. Your best bet i think is the Chemistry teacher, as mentioned before.
