The tower on Maejoo University is only an Edge / Gprs Conection

And of Course if you have the setup you get god speed from the City Because AIS is using 950 Mhz for 3G they have a god coverage of about 30 km, While in Europe 3G is on 2,2GHZ and only gets you 6Km that why you have towers in almost every corner

You run the risk of being denied entry to Thailand. You will need to get a new passport as soon as possible.

You know you can extend an entry on a tourist visa for 30 days for 1,900 baht at immigration (and a photo). if you didn't do so, I advice you to get the extension tomorrow and right after apply for a new passport.

If Im correct informed you can not get a extension of any kind if your passport have less then 6 month left, you have to have a new passport first
