In tourist areas the willingness to vaccinate has been very good. But what about those parts where a lot of people live but few tourists visit? 

My feeling is it will be hard to achieve 70 % as like in other countries many people are sceptical due to different but often intelligent reasons.

I think the target of 70% will be reached - but only after the government forces people to accept it (directly or indirectly). 

Anyone knows what green spots stand for?

The Thai lady has bigger problems than half the condo fees, if the foreigner cant be found, the property wont be able to be sold unless both parties are involved. 

All paper for sale are in order (POA etc.)so not a problem to register a sale at LO. All maintenance fees has to be paid before. In this case it will be taken to court before I assume. Thai lady is prepared to pay maintenance only for her 50% which to me is understandable. Water or electricity can not be cut off in this case.

Replies to my questions appreciated. I am well informed re. other matters and been covered on this forum recently as well.

I have been asked about a case where a married couple have bought a condo and on the Land Office they are registered owning 50% each. In this case the couple (m=farang, f=thai) have gone through a registered divorce  and they still own each 50% each after divorce. The unpaid invoices cover only time after the divorce was registered.

The farang left the country after divorce and his new adress is not known. He is not interested in fullfilling any of his ”obligations”. The Thai lady is willing to pay according to her percentage of ownership. The condo has been up for sale since the divorce but no buyer has shown any interest so far.

The JP now insists the Thai lady is responsibel for 100 % of the maintenance fee even if she does own only 50 %. The invoices has been issued in the two names ”put together”.

Questions:

1.       Is an owner only responsible for his percentage ownership according to what has been registered by Landoffice?

2.       Can the issued invoice be declared not issued legally as two name were put together instead of one invoice sent              to each of them?

Bought new Volvo V70 2008. Done 190.000 km. Still working fine and in excellent condition. Even if we got Japanese car as well being replaced every 3-4 years Volvo still most used.

Mrs bought a new Subaru XV 3 years ago. Done 50.000 km by now. Satisfied in all aspects and nice to drive. As we have had no problems no need of spareparts - understand this might be problematic.

Fuel economy around 0.8 l/10 km (mostly local trips).

I use a True sim card bought at Lazada. Used it since a year back. Internet 60 GB each month, free calls etc. Cost for 1 year 1300 baht. Good internet speed and works well.

I found Lazada from China lately takes around three weeks. This as an average from 8 shipments. 

Not using Aliexpress as often it took up to two months for delivery to arrive.

We bought a Homemade HOM-206402 from Verasu in June 2015 after someone recommended it at this forum. 

Have been using it once a week since we got it. So far it has worked well and to our full satisfaction.

Had this happened to me some years back with a new Honda. Told them I will not pick up the car until it got original plates, red or white (they offered "copied red plates" which I refused). Within only 4 days the car was ready for delivery with white plates as well as the original registration book.

A dealer have a certain numbers of red plates only. Dealers improving their cash flow by misusing the consignment system by late payments of delivered cars easily can run out of red plates - it appears many of them are.

Personally I would not drive without plates as I as a farang try to avoid setting myself up as a potential target. But indeed most people do without any problems.

After marriage to my Thai wife in 2002 I changed my surname to her Thai name. It has worked out well and never caused any problem. The main reason for the name change was my original surname had a letter not to be found in the English/American alphabet.

I have been living most my life outside my home country and this special letter did cause me a lot of problems in dealing with banks, immigrations, airlines etc.

Been approved and this evening published in Royal Gazette. So into effect now.
