We are hoping to go to UK this year! My wife applied for visa and was interviewed on May 5th. Back then it was taking between 3 and 6 weeks to get visa, After 5 weeks we received email from UKVI Deli to say the visa applications were taking longer because of the Ukraine refugee situation and were now taking 9 to 10 weeks. It is now 11 weeks since her interview and planes are filling up and prices are going through the roof! Is there any way we can find out if my wifes visa will come through soon or can throw any light on this situation? Thanks!

Thanks for your suggestion, I have already taken out excess damage insurance. The only reason I went to Green Motion was the ridiculously high charges from other hire companys!

Hi, this is a long shot but here goes! I am due to arrive BHX on Aug 9th. and I have booked a hire car from Rental cars Green Motion. The procedure for picking up the car seems a little long winded to say the least! I have to go to the desk in the terminal to do the paperwork then catch some kind of rail connection to the International station. Then I have to look for a bus stop where a shuttle will take me to the hire car office. Seems something like hard work! So I was wondering if anyone as used this service and can give me an idea what I'm going to be up against? Any help appreciated!
