Hi,
I saw them in Tesco Lamai last weekend. They haven't had them in stock in ages so I remember seeing them.
If not have you tried Big C I used to always see them there but I haven't been up that way in ages.
I have to agree they last ages and easy to was. Sometimes you find interesting ones like I had one with Spongebob square pants material??
Hope that helps,

I now hear the match is midnight???

What time is the match on?

There is absolutely NO way thay they would have given you THB 170 of fuel and not collected the THB 170 from you. The meter says 170, that is what the cashier is expecting.
So obviously, the meter was not on zero when they started to fill your tank. They had already got 50 or whatever from the previous customer.
Yes that's exactly what I thought they were expecting me to pay the fuel for myself and the lady before me then pocket the money from the lady before.
-
Yes my tank was full. But surely they know its not possible to put 170 baht into a honda click they must fill them up all the time???
They hesitated at first then I started looking towards the cashier and they said ok ok.

I think this happened to me this morning in Lamai. I was in a bit of a day dream as they filled up the tank usually I would be looking. I said fill it full. They filled up my bike and said 170 baht. Guessing they did not restart the pump after the lady before me. As a farrang woman by myself maybe i was an easy target. I was calm and told them it was not possible to put more than 170 baht into my bike. I checked the rates just in case I offered 100 baht (more than it was more than likely) and they said ok.
Happened to anyone else? Genuine mistake you think? I'm left quite puzzled if I handled the situation correct I will pay attention to the pump more in future.

I'm also struggling to find them on Koh Samui. Some 7-11's have cans of diet coke but cannot seem to get 1.25l of diet coke/coke zero/pepsi max in Tesco or Big C for a good few weeks. I'll try again this weekend.
Can anyone confirm if they see them?
Thanks

I went there yesterday for some food. It was very tasty and good value for money. I'll be back again for sure.
Thanks to Dave for helping us out too

Thats exactly what i wanted to do but was told by two agencies & a german man who operates the visa run its not possible because I already entered Thailand twice on a visa exempt stamp from when i flew into Thailand.
I'm a bit confused by it all and couldn't find the information on it.
-
Thanks so much. Must have read old information!
-
Ok so there is no restriction how many times i can come in and out of thailand on a 30 day stamp?
-
Hi,
I'm currently here in Thailand with my partner who works here. I have messed up my visa and have been flying to KL for one night and returning on a tourist stamp on arrival.
I just wanted confirmation because I'm unclear of this.
So I'm on my 3rd stamp on arrival. My visa expire on the 11th November. This will make 90 days I've been in Thailand on a tourist visa.
Am i correct I need to leave Thailand now for 6 months before i can re-enter?
Is there any other options visa wise for me to stay?
Thank you,

From experience I can tell you that buying cheap is false economy. Going for the cheapest fan, grill, toaster etc will end up with you having to replace it very quickly. You are better off buying quality to start with. I know I wish I had.
I can understand that. I agree so where do you think is the best value?
I agree too, get brand names you know, and see how long the warranty is, if three months usually not OK, if one year usually better...
All the shops are all in a small distance of each other... Check Sirisen too... and compare prices, although I don't think you'll find a huge difference... in price, some times it comes down to service too....
Make sure to keep your receipts and warranty cards...
Ok thats great just wanted to check I didn't miss any other place. Will check out Big C and compare!

Hi All,
Hope your having a good day.
Just wondering where people would recommend the best place to kit out our new home with a few appliances?
We need like stand fan, toaster, kettle, electric hob etc.
I had a look at Tesco prices seemed pretty good but just want to check is there anywhere better/cheaper people would recommend?
Thank you,

Hi All,
Just looking for some assistance. My partner is working in Koh Samui so he has a work visa. I'm struggling to get work (I understand the difficulties of obtaining work here but hopefully something may come up in the next few weeks).
My current tourist visa expires in 3 weeks. Would i be better off going for a 60 day tourist visa in KL or applying for a education visa?
What would be the implications of going from an education visa to a work visa? Could anyone recommend a school for this (I would also like to take the classes if possible)?
Thank you,

I'm in the same area! I know your pain!
I don't mind as much when you know there is no power the next day so you can prepare charge laptop/phone etc but when you just wake up and wonder why the a/c is not working its a bad start to the day.
Any word on any more cuts this week?

Hey,
I'd like to recommend Andy (based in Lamai). English guy working in an international school here.
Excellent at fixing & setting up computers / networks for home and small businesses. Very reasonable rates.
