I am going for my 12th retirement extension before this months end. I've done numerous extensions and 90 day reports over the years and never a problem. Should I expect one, and if so what should I expect ???

I use the brand Toprelin (Pregabalin) which is made here in Thailand. It's a lot cheaper than the imported Lyrica brand. 

I never needed to actually buy injectable Heparin as I haven't traveled in excess of 3 hours on a plane since I was diagnosed 11 years ago.  When I was first diagnosed my doctor gave me one injection per day for the first 9 days, After that I was on Warfarin for several months before going to see Dr. Harit who prescribed Xarelto.  My local doctor advised me to use prefilled Heparin injections every three hours for the duration of the flight if it exceeded 3 hours.

From my personal experience I would highly recommend Dr. Harit at the Horizon Cancer Clinic at Bumrungrad.  As far as I'm concerned, he saved my life 10 years ago when I was diagnosed with extremely chronic DVT.  Don't wait, they're like ticking time bombs !!!  Wishing you the best of luck !!!

My doctor would prescribe Heparin. Bach then it was 3,000 Baht per injection. To be injected into fatty tissue every three hours throughout the duration of the flight.  Please keep in mind that this information is about 10 years old....

Out of the two types of Hash mentioned here I tried both. The Nepalese wins hands down in both quality and price in my opinion.

I ordered from Green Lab yesterday at 11:30am yesterday and it was delivered at 17:00pm !!! BTW I don't live very far from their office and the ladies on the phone were excellent and professional. 

This was my second order from them and both times very impressed with the service and quality !!!

I was diagnosed with Deep Vein Thrombosis 13 months ago and have been prescibed by a local doctor to take 10 Mgs of Warfarin daily. I went for yet another follow up a few days ago and had another ultrasound performed. The clot has gotten larger. It appears that I have become resistant to Warfarin and the doctor has increased my dosage to 15 Mgs on Mondays, Wednsedays and Fridays. The doctor has suggested my problem could be genetic. The next step may be daily injections of Heparin, self administered with doctors instructions.

If anyone knows of a particular doctor and/or hospital that "Specializes" in the treatment of DVT in Bangkok please let me know.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Just got a double entry today. This was my 2nd double entry from Laos. No red stamp.

The President Solitaire has some beautiful rooms with large jacuzzis. It's at the end of Soi 11. About B5.000 per night.

In Phuket the price of a case of Singha small bottles went up from 595B per box to 695B per box in the last week. Tiger beer was 622B per box today (the 12th) and tomorrow one supplier is asking 750b per box, IF you can find it !!! Heineken has been increasing steadily as well, currently 775 per box !!! Hang on to your beer wallets !!! Oh well, back to spirits at the local watering hole. TIT !!!

That would be a nasty turn of events - if they stopped issuing double-entry tourist visas while the fee waiver is in effect.

Let's hope not! These consulates can change policies anytime they like.

Logic would say that if you applied for a Double Entry, you would only be charged for one of them. But........

My guess is that they will treat single and double entry tourist visas as completely different entities. There's lots of people applying everyday there...I hope we get a report soon so we can stop speculating.

For what it's worth, I went to the Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh today (March 5th) and requested a double entry tourist visa and was told in no uncertain terms that only single entry will be granted until the visa waiver expires in June. I offered to pay for both entries and was declined. I was told to come back in June !!! Perhaps I should have applied yesterday ???
