Trying to confirm that if a Work Permit is cancelled, a Non-B visa would automatically be cancelled whereas a Non O visa would not.
Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks in advance.

I see the bars are open again,

9 x 30 = 270

Where does this put DIY places like HomePro, Global and the like?
Or do we just have to wait until Sunday to see what's open?
EDIT Just to clarify, we are in Pathum Thani, no DIY for 6 weeks, still no beer ????
I thought Mega Home was open already....

As a caveat to the requirements for the extension (405,000 BHT showing), I should add that an updated bank book (Monday), letter confirming funds (Monday) from the Banks head office along with a statement dated same day as application is STILL not enough proof. I have to return tomorrow and deposit 100 Baht in the morning and then update the book again. Sigh...
P.S. I haven't made a fuss with them as I am fully aware that it is as useful as an ashtray on a motorcycle

When extending a marriage visa, how many days do you apply for? It appears for last year, it was extended by 30 days and then got the year. This was done by a lawyer but I am going to do this year myself (Brave, I know).

Just go a bit south west, another great service [Visa's within an hour for Thailand] at Cardiff .. 9 Mt Stuart Square, Cardiff Bay, South Glamorgan CF10 5EE
http://www.thaiconsulatewales.org.uk/index.htm
or go a bit North west and use the Thai Consulate at 35 Lord St, Liverpool L2 9SQ, United Kingdom
http://www.royalthaiconsul.com/
no need to go/send to the Embassy in London
Is it possible to apply for a class O visa in Cardiff ??
I was not aware of the ability to get visas like this anywhere other than London or Hull.
Single entry? Multiple entry ? And on what basis would you be applying ?
Married to a Thai.....probably multiple entry....with a view to getting a work permit.

Anyone got any thoughts on these Audi A4s in the classifieds, going for less than 160,000? One a 2.4 and the other doesn't say so presumably a 1.8.
No pictures available? I would not assume the 2nd one is a 1.8, although sloppy of the owner not to mention it.
If you are interested, a buddy of mine is selling his A4 which he converted to 1.8T manual. Very nice ride, very direct steering. Torque comes on very smooth.
He's asking around 200k, but would need to check.
In BKK.
The Audi A4 2.4 is now sold. The rims are Brabus and were on it when I bought it. The interior was cream not white!!

Today travelled up Lad Phrao Road and 6 kms from Bang Kapi mall the flooding starts. We then travelled back to Ramkamhaeng Road all the way out past Min Buri with no sign of flooding.
We have videos of Lad Phrao road and the intersection with VR Road where the bike died in deep water
but managed to resurrect it shortly after.

Ok all the videos from Lad Phrao Road along to Chatuchak are in the links
Hope they give you an idea of the water flow....2 days ago we travelled the same road and there was NO water....

Have ridden a bike with my friend up to Ratchapidisek Road / Vibhawadi junction and it is flooded even outside Hino offices. travelled along then took Paholyothin Road and the flooding continues past Major Cineplex there with TV crews in attendance. I took a video of it all but it is too big to put here and I am not expert enough to reduce its size...
I too believe it will hit Lad Prao very soon....and onwards. Good luck to all.

Have heard there is flooding in Samrong / Samut Prakarn now. I know this often happens at high tide in Samut but can anyone confirm or detail the extent of flooding?

Just heard on Twitter that it is flooding on Sukhumvit 50. Can anyone confirm this? It was only one report, also putting Bang Jak on alert. Any news as in the centre and need to know if I should dash home.
TV news reported Sukhumit 50, 54 and 56 starting to flood.
Affirmative. Just got off the Expressway and when coming down on Soi 50 I was not allowed to turn right, so had to go left towards Sukhumvit instead.
Police blocked Soi 50 south. I came from Minburi (Ramkhamheng Soi 160 - 168) and all was dry and sunny on my way in. Did not notice any floods close to Outer Ring, Rama 9 and Ram Inthra Expressway. God speed
Where is this water coming from? Is this related to the water reported in Phra Khanong? Sois 50-56 aren't close to that khlong, and I don't see anything else around.
Surely as it is coming into that area and Kao san Road this must be the Chao Praya high tide coming?? Can anyone confirm?

Just wanted to share a link to the CCTV cameras around Bangkok.
They are a good source to see if a road is passable and maybe advance warning in your area.
I cannot post a link as I am a new member but i will try to make it visible
