I’m looking for a reliable insurance company and wonder if anyone would share his experiences.

actually rosemary is the only herb i have grown successfully so far.

i think i will try to grow in a raised bed with well prepared soil.

Hello everybody,

did anyone of you successfully grow herbs like dill, parsley, chive, lemon balm or the like in Thailand?

I tried almost anything in different locations of my garden. The result has always been the same.

The germination is unproblematic but after a couple of days -two weeks at the most- the seedlings dwarf

and finally die. I tried in sunny places, in half shade and shady places, always the same result.

My Embassy still provides income letters/affidavits. Is that sufficient prove of income for Thai Immigration? I have no monthly payments coming to my Thai Bank account.

I get no monthly payments on a Thai bankaccount, I usually just withdraw my money from the ATM. My Embassy (German) still provides the income letter/affidavit.

Is that sufficient and will be accepted as prove of income by Thai Immigration?

the really bad thing is, that almost 80 or even 90% of the offered houses from agencies are not really available because they are already rented out for long tern; the other ones are actually rented out and can not be viewed. What kind of Business behaviour is this?

You wont pay more by going through an agent as its the owner that pays any commissions...sure agents normally only list more expensive properties as it really isnt worth bothering for something that is 6K a month......the added benefit from going through an agent is that you will have a contract and they will be a mediator between you and the landlord if any problems arise....going direct for cheap properties is the only way but not the safest.
