The year 2013 will be a promising year indeed!

I hope they send them to a animal shelter. What the heck are officials going to do with 600 Cobras?

You must be the only one here to remember that! Go whining somewhere else old chap!!!Anybody remember that Thailand is a 3rd world country???
Some of you talk as if there was any sort of western development here.
-
So you think that a mayor setback like the massive floods of last year would happen again and again?A great example of why Thailand will never get the World Cup or Olympics in the next 50 years even though some big name pollies like to talk up a potential bid.
Sorry I must disagree with you, more like 150 years!

I've been to Changi International and saw a swimming pool outside when I was walking to the gate! I don't understand why people want to take a swim in a airport terminal on departure!?

They will install personal screens aswell.I would prefer they start with the basics and install personal screens in all their aircraft first......

True, but it's the world's largest low quality brothel. If there is a country in the world where most women are totally unskilled and uninteresd in sex, this is Thailand. It's easy to have sex in Thailand, but difficult to have good sex. It's easy to get into a relationship in Thailand, but difficult to get into a good ,meaningful, adult relationship.Any guy having experience with ' latina' will agree with me...
So you must be a frequent visitor and having the looks of an old farang sex tourist!!!True, but it's the world's largest low quality brothel.

Yeah sure it may be more appropriate to describe them as moslim separatists in the deep south! It occurs to me that to be a simple gas explosion, there would need to be some considerable time for some gas leak to build up to a concentration that was combustible. I'm not an expert and not sure what type of gas would be used at the Lee Garden Plaza, but I think the concentration would have to get to at least between 2 and 5 % of the atmosphere for the chance of an explosion. It seems likely that someone would notice a gas smell before that amount could have built up. Does anyone have any expertise on this matter? Is it possible that a terrorist could intentionally set an explosive close to a gas pipe in the basement area? Are there immediate signs that would have indicated a gas versus other type of explosion that would have led to an expert guess that this was a gas explosion?
When I lived in the USA a house on our block had a gas explosion. It literally leveled the house to the foundation and threw debris all around the neighborhood, breaking windows and damaging many nearby homes.
A gas explosion is VERY powerful. Would not be surprised if that was the cause here. Usually the Thai terrorists don't make such large bombs.
Thai terrorists? ... a rai na?
Unique wording, and careless wording from yourself there! Mai dai!

I agree! I hope this story will be a message to all these sick Paedophiles that they aren't welcome here anymore! The Thai police will hunt your ass down and beat it!!There is a proper nasty streak through all of these threads. The Thai police investigated his crimes and issued and international arrest warrant which was enacted in Prague. I say
Well done to the Royal Thai Police!!
I hope this case gets plenty of publicity as the word has to get out to Paedophiles worldwide, your time abusing Thai kids is up.

Every country has its faults. Thailand is great place to live. If I was a Thai reading all these rants and raves I'd be somewhat amused and think to myself is Thailand really that bad that the falangs are not happy here .. but then why do they stay here ? Lets be a bit more positive in general about the LOS.
I totally agree with you! They must be frustrated somehow.Every country has its faults. Thailand is great place to live. If I was a Thai reading all these rants and raves I'd be somewhat amused and think to myself is Thailand really that bad that the falangs are not happy here .. but then why do they stay here ? Lets be a bit more positive in general about the LOS.

What a load of bullshit!!!30 years ago the Vietnamese imported rice for their own domestic consumption. 30 years on they overrun the Thais because a) they got their act together and the government does not screw around with water management by the ignorant agriculture ministry and is, by all standards, considerably less corrupt. In 30 years Thailand will be behind Myanmar and Philippines combined but this is no longer my problem then.....

A special opening with a Bang!!!Just as well they know which airports have the raised levels of security then.
The people in positions of authority in this country really are so inept it makes you wonder if they make these statements just to mislead, because no one could actually be this stupid.
So Don Mueang now open ?

This is one sick crazy motherf*cker for sure !! I think he needs a special treatment in a mental hospital !

LOL
very funny, Singapore beats BKK by far already.
And maybe they should take a look in Jakarta for Plaza Indonesia and Plaza Senayan / Senayan City for once, those are big, modern and multi branded malls with English speaking and service oriented staff...
Not to mention Mall of Asia in Manila, big as hell.
BKK beats Hanoi, Saigon and Yangon still though...
Don't make me laugh, Bkk has the most and best supersized malls in the whole of Southeast Asia!!!!!! You should count them!!

Big surprise ... now aviation hub
The first phase is under used ... what is the need for a 2nd phase
Why not just use Don Muang for all domestic flights and Swampy for all international flights
Saves a lot of money
You sound like someone who works over there and check every inbound flight into Swampy

Noticed yesterday 'Koncept' just past Bang Yai, were offering flood victims buy one get one free, on beds, settees, cupboards etc
At three times the normal price?
You just have to wait and see.

Most Japanese companies will stay because of the golf courses and girlie clubs. Why do you think they came here to start with ??????
Sanyo is obviously not a big player here in semiconducter land, the most vulnerable in the business are always the first one to go

There are so many available women, why go for one that's got a husband??? The guy probably thought he could cheat the woman out of her car and some money. Old saying - Never touch another man's food, or his wife.
Some women just think men can give them everything they want.

Seriously, is anyone surprised? I ran a company in Nongprue/Pattaya with the following problems which led me to suggest everyone NOT to invest in Thailand's economy:- brown outs and power cuts EVERY week- city water running unreliably; pressure varies and so does the quality- phone lines ongoingly down (they nick the copper wires); makes Fax obsolete yet is still used by many Thai sub-suppliers- internet is expensive, slow and also unreliable at times- labour protection act protects labourers; did you every try to sue staff who just walked out of the job and took company assets along?- red tape: ever tried to open an internet banking account and credit card swiping facility? I did and it took me seven godforsaken months - run a girlie bar; never a staff problem. Try to run a normal business with THB 10'000/monthly wage per staff, limited English? Forget it, the applicants give you the willies...... and so the story goesQuintessence was; I moved this business away to Cambodia. I pay the staff proper salaries and give them human housing and food. Never had staff problems, profits are considerably better than in Thailand and the government does not intervene in anything. Ah, and visa/work permit is a walk in the park compared to the LOS. So, yes, go and look around before sinking a lot of money into frustrating Thailand
So you pay the staff proper salaries ?? Doing business in 3rd World Cambodia must be the lowest and cheapest thing to do!!

Who, or what is "Abac"? And who, or what is "Dusit"?
I assume the the article means the polls were conducted "from" October 15 and not November 15.
Conducted by Rajabat Suan Dusit University, I was one of them btw.
Thai man massively overcharged at national park because he looks like a farang
