Really, show me where the minced beef is in Big C in Surin. I've seen a few ridiculously priced steaks but can't recall seeing mince.

A lot of the Thai people I know (in fact ALL the Thai people I know) just say they don't like beef because of the smell.

Maybe it's more of a religious thing that they have inherited over the years, but I've never seen anyone eat beef around here...chicken , pork, fish etc but never beef.

It is very clear why Thailand does not allow foreigners to buy land. It should stay this way. If your Thai wife wants a house and does not agree for the condominium which can belong to you, let her have it, the house and the women are both your choice. However, the condominium regulations should be changed. If a foreigner works long time in Thailand why on Earth should he/she still transfer the money for this purchase from abroad? Unnecessary inconvenience.

In any country in any renovation if you know what you are doing insists on your plan and acheive the results. Do not whine.

Usually when i drive i make it 2 days /1 nght in Rayong only

Easy roads and the route from Rayong along the coats to Phuket is twisty and beaurtfull ( only 4 hours)

At some point it is a two lane road. So you have two choices either driving slow with heavy trucks on the damaged side of the road or competing with small trucks driving at an insane speed.
