Hi,
My girlfriend (Thai) will be returning from Pattaya to Ubon Rachathani next week.
Are any restrictions on such travel? Rtpcr test, quarantine, home isolation etc?
What about restrictions for foreigners? I have been in Pattaya for 2 weeks already under the 24 hours test and go scheme.
Thanks,
Neole

Just now, Neole said:
He had to pay 5000 baht and was free to go. Happened by 3pm. But he said another person had to pay 10000 baht for breaking the curfew. I am not sure why. His sister said she knew someone at the police station and had informed him of her brother.
I asked whether he had received any receipt for the fine, and she said no. But I will inquire again tomorrow they were busy settling things today what with the fight and all.
He also mentioned that police or court said earlier they were fining 40000 baht. Which matches what earlier replies in the thread said.

Actually it was a bit more complex.
The guy got into a fight with his wife's brother where the brother in law was mildly injured and had to get a bit of patchup at the hospital. The police caught the guy, but the wife and her brother refused to file a complaint. So the police said they are going to keep him for breaking the lockdown as he had walked out after the fight.
I still don't have an update from court, though they are supposedly there now.

3 months prison? 40k baht? Certainly very extreme sounding.. I will get update today as to what penalty is decided by court tomorrow.

One of my Thai friend has been arrested by the police in Ubon Ratchathani police station last night for breaking curfew around 11pm. His sister just informed me. She is not aware of the exact nature of detention.
Does anyone know the legal punishment for breaking lockdown, and it is possible to pay a fine and get away?

I have no idea how the first budget of 140000 went to 350000 but it just did without any discussion ????

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
I finally went for a 2019 Suzuki Ciaz 350000 baht 12000 miles under it.
I have very little idea about cars, I just buy and drive and this was suggested by the showroom to the buying lady. Anyone have any idea about this model?

It's for a mother in a farm (Nakhon Sawan) who just drives around locally. It would be a replacement for a motorbike.

Hello,
I need to buy a second hand car for a Thai citizen for a budget within 140000. Car needs to have proper paperwork obviously.
Is it possible to get a decent car in this budget? Where should I look?
(She stays in Nakhon Sawan but is currently in Ubon Rachathani and will be travelling back in a few days through Bangkok)

Could anyone just tell me the cheapest shipping option?
-
They come in packets which can be kept for a couple of years. The intention is just to cook and eat. I had bought packs on my last trip but they are over. The next trip is in April. They are not available in Kiev where I am now.

I am leaving on an adventure trip and was about to buy a Go Pro 4, but then saw the Go Pro 5 is advertised at almost the same price. However all the shops I went to say it is 'Out Of Stock'. This includes some shops in Tucom and Power Buy and Big Camera at Central.
Does anyone know any place where the Go Pro 5 is available in Pattaya? I leave for my trip on Monday morning (31st October).

Thanks, I have emailed you the details.

Does anyone know any filming crew (or director or executive producer) in Thailand who can shoot professional quality videos?
I would need them to arrange for the cinematographer, camera, lights, equipment, location etc and shoot the video as per the director. The editing and post production will be done by another team.
It's a 10 day shoot for a web series for around a million baht budget. I will be bringing my own actors.
If anyone has any knowledge or experience with this please let me know. I plan to shoot around 30th May.
