I need a very good and quite large office desk and also a new office chair with wheels.

I have been to Office Depot, Index, Tesco, Carrefour, Macro and they only have the cheapest most junk style furniture.

Can someone send me in the right direction please... like where would the CEO of Thai airways buy his desk and chair? Not that i am the CEO of any airways, nor a i some oil rich sheik, but I'll pay good money for good quality.

I have often wondered about the caffiene levels in the coke here... i was drinking a lot of jack and coke when i got here and could not sleep... now i drink breezers and i sleep fine (i also am garanteed not to get flat ^**#ing coke)

Well i just tried to get a flight from Hong Kong to Bangkok and the prices that Thai airways want for the ticket are OVER THE TOP... so i said F&*K it and did not book... maybe if they consider being realistic about their prices then they might win some new business.

I want to buy a camera from the USA, and i want to have it sent to me here in BKK. Now in the courty i come from if you do this you end up paying import duties on the camera and then VAT as well....

I wonder what is the deal here in TH?

I am not planning on importing heaps of cameras, just one for me.

The price will be about 25,000 Baht.

If i do end up paying VAT, can i get it back on the way out of the country?

My tooth has basically a big cavity in it (after the filling came off weeks ago). It hurts if you touch or push it (chewing on that side is out of question), sometimes the pain is excruciating, like I can feel every heart beat in that tooth. Pain killers simply don't seem to be working...
