    Oh really?

If he had done some research he would have noticed that many champions from western countries start training muay thai at a later age.

For example the Dutch champion Ramon Dekkers, who defeated most of the Thai champions including legendary Thai champion Coban, only started training at age 12.

I got the feeling they only care about money.

More kids training and fighting means more work and more income for them.

Definately get rid the place of the drug addicts, ruffians, trouble makers, criminals, tatooed bullies and so on...

But definately also remember to make life easier for all the expats and retirees on their visa issues by reducing the red tape, stop the grotesque 90 day reporting, stop the unfair re-entry permits, make the process towards retirement visas simple, smooth, make sure that the queues at immigration offices is strongly reduced as it is disgraceful for Thailand to have people queueing for hours at regional immigration offices......kindly do not make the quality foreigners feel that they are not wanted any more.

    Thank you, Sir. :wai:

Have you actually written to Big Joke himself? posting here will not do any good...:)

Another step downward. One of the key tools of any dictatorship is fear. But fear of the government is one thing…fear of being informed on by one’s fellow citizens is much more powerful.

Most expats here will try to find a negative in anything. If you're fearful you know where Suvarnabhumi is, no fear they won't stop you leaving.

Can't expats not vent their opinion without having to leave? It's people, who think like you should leave. I agree with Hayduke. Fear is a powerful tool for governments to control society. Same happened during WW II. Thousands of Jewish people were captured, because their neighbours betrayed them. Never read the bible about how Judas betrayed Jesus?

Step upward in my book. The fear of being reported is what keeps a civilized country in law and order. Police in civilized countries relies heavily on calls and tips from the public.

What is important is that the laws make sense... I dont like people being punished for victimless crimes like consuming cannabis for example...

Upward? What civilized society is doing is helping the law enforcement without rewards.

Rewarding citizen's arrests with money is actually illegal, because you'll be sort of an extension of the police without any authorization. Reporting a crime is different, but has to be carried out with integrity and carefully. The #metoo is a perfect example of how men can be accused of sexual abuse without any evidence. Let it be clear that I do not condone any (sexual) abuse, but being accused without legal evidence is the same as a witch hunt.
