I am a 27 year old life enjoyer from Holland who visited Pattaya for the first time in July 2011. After staying here for 4 weeks I had to fly back to Holland. At Suvarnabhumi Airport I was asking myself a serious question: Why should I get on this plane. What benefits does Holland offer me over life in Thailand. There was only one answer: none. Still I did catch that flight and when I was back home, there was not a single day that I didn't miss Thailand.

One month later I decided to make the move. I found an add on ThaiVisa.com and had some professionals help me with the docs for a visa. On 10 october 2011, so 6 weeks after leaving, I got back to Thailand and now live here permanently.

Work

I am a mediocre website developper and since 2008 I have been focussing on building websites which generate monthly income with no maintainance or further work needed to be done. Because of my high knowledge on SEO I have multiple websites in the top10 of google for my targeted keywords. I also built a real estate module for realtors in Holland, which allows them to add a property once and find the property on all listing sites in Holland the next day. These realtors pay a small monthly fee and all I have to do is answer about 5 service emails a day. Because I was fortunate to have a lot of experience in sales thru telephone, I managed to retire my daytime job on february 2011. Right now all I am doing is answering the 5 emails every day.

I am currently not working on any projects. I am enjoying life in Thailand and I wait for January to see what my next website is going to be. Most likely a webshop or something but I am not sure yet.

Life

After spending one month looking for condo's, I decided its better to live in a resort for the moment. I now live at the lovely SugarBeat Resort in Pattaya, with my Thai lady (not married yet) Jenny. I am still trying to figure out a way to get a mortgage for buying a condo.

Future

I am looking for new opportunities to build new websites, of course based on my passive income theory ( I choose to be able to be lazy hehe ). I am also looking for aquiring a real estate portfolio and buying some businesses here in Pattaya, to cut my ties with the Euro and the Dollar.
