Thank you very much Lopburi3.
I had a mail today with the same information from EVA Airways.

Have just have response from EVA Taipei. It seems not that easy.
They told me they've jsut sent a telex to check-in in BKK to have more information.
So now, once again, I'm still waiting.
I'm still hoping that someone who shared that situation in the past could give his comment
Thanks folks
My wife just went through this last month with EVA at BKK. While standing in line, a man was going through and asking everyone for their plane tickets and passports. When he got my wife's, he looked through her passport, then asked for her greencard. She gave it to him and that was that. At the counter, my wife gave her ticket, passport and greencard. The agent took the ticket and passport, then returned the greencard, but after a moment requested the greencard again. It was just that easy. There were no problems in Taipei either.
You says "green card", Where was your wife flying to ?

I've already wrote to EVA in Taipei but still no answer.
I'm concerned because :
- out flight is at 3.20 am (so belgian embassy closed to query information).
- we flight to Amsterdan (no flights to Brussels) so Eva airways has certainly no contacts with a belgian representative
Anyone more info ?

Hi to all,
My thai husband (we're married since 04/2005) does not need a visum anymore to come to Belgium (or any other Schengen country).
He has his thai passport and is alien belgian ID card (the yellow card for those familiar with this)
He's just gone to visit his family in Isan and I follow him in a few weeks. We're scheduled to come back in Belgium mid april this year.
As it is the first time he'll travel without a visa, I'm a bit scare about the knowledge of the check in staff at don muang (we fly on BR - EVA Airways). Do you think they 're familiar with this ?
We'll travel with the original of our marriage registration in Koksijde (Belgium), and his name appears on my ID card (not on my passport), and my name appears also on his alien yellow ID card.
What do you think ?
Thanks to you all for your help.

Thanks for that quick response.
But do they take picture when entering the ingdom or when leaving the kingdom ?

Hi everyone,
I've just read on another forum that there's now a picture taken of yourself at the immigration counters entering Bangkok via Don Muang airport.
Is this a joke or not ?
If true, does this seriously increase the waiting time in the queue ?
Thanks for infos
