sorry as i have not explained properly in my last post.

Taken on board i have an account and address in Khon Kaen. 

i am on a retirement visa, so when i move to pattaya/sattahip would immigration in Jomtien accept a letter from a bank in kk. 

Letter based on having money in the bank.

when on a retirement visa does the bank have to be in the same province when producing a letter.

i have a bank acc in KHON kaen with a kk address.

 if i move to Pattaya/Sattahip can i leave my account in KK open or do i have to close it and open at new location.

Can someone out there please tell me if there is a decent weather app available for Thailand, something like what Australia has. BOM radar is great. On this app you can see how far the weather is away from you and how long before it reaches you..(bad weather i'm talking about here).

I did use a 1week trial with express vpn. It worked great. I am currently using yoga vpn which is ok. Mind you i have only used it for 1 day. Free vpn's are ok for a quick fix. You really need to purchase one. I will do a 3 day trial on Friday with nord vpn. They have a good offer going at the moment and are rated highly.

I did think you had to go imms and get a letter and then to land transport with everything that has been mentioned.

The reason i want to transfer is maybe for sale of the car.

I don't know if it's law that you must change regerstraion to the province that you are living.

When I get my Residence Certificate from imms do I need to make another copy or will the original surfice for car and bike licence.

I went to day to check what paperwork I need, the guy looked at what I had. Turns out I have everything except immigration paper which I will get in the next week or so. I think for memory the document from imms is good for 30 days.

He also said to be there by 9am, so I will try to be there 0830.

 

My licence expires 08/03/17.

If i go the day after the expiry date do i have to sit the whole testing system again or will it be a simple eye and colour test and watch a movie.

I am renting a house in Bangsaray, and I wish to apply for a yellow book. My gf rang amphor sattahip. Besides wanting pics, and some other paper work which I can relate to they say they want my front page of passport to be translated to Thai. I know idea why. Isn't a thai passport printed in eng.

Difference is the OA verses the Non Immigrant O. (and subsequent one year extension based on retirement)

You and I have the same thing....Non O with one year extension. This is my first time to do this too. I believe, that when my extension ends...I will have to leave the country and do another Non O...and also another extension.

Pretty frustrating...as I am trying to stay here another two years. I used to enjoy leaving..I wish I could just stay..but nothing available for that.

I have a non o visa which i got from my country, however far as the 12 mth extenion goes i get that done in thailand.

You will be stamped to the date that your extensions of stay ends which is also the date your re-entry permit expires.

Can some one comfirm for me please. Whilst on a Extention visa which is valid for 12 mths. If by leaving the country (given that you have a re entry permit) and return just prior to the expiry date. Coming back through the airport do you get another 1 yr stamp, thus making it a 2 yr visa. I have heard rumors. Thought i would ask here.
