  1. Before I got my Thai driving license I showed my DIP several times and the officer obviously didn't know what it was. So no problem. I think that the DIP is valid for 6 months; if you have an accident after that time then your insurance won't pay.

From what I have read the permit is valid for a year and it can only be used for a maximum of 60 day's for one times use if that makes sense

  3. Hi,

You are talking about a scene in maybe 100 seafood restaurants in Bangkok, so it would be hard to pinpoint without seeing the deleted video. I think the most well-known one is the Seafood market in Sukhumvit soi 24. Drive along the soi until you see a huge neon sign - cant miss it.

That's the place. Keith Floyd went there as well on Far Flung Floyd.

Did you see it on the TV also is that the place I am thinking off do you know the name at all

  4. I have seen this place on TV "Rick Steins SE Asian Odyssey" in the UK its basically a sea food restaurant that you buy the food like at the super market and the chefs there will cook it for you I know it is in BKK and thats it it is simple eating place no thrills.

  5. Thinking of going to one of those health spa's for a week were they all the messy colon cleansing and things like that does anyone have any recomedations it will idealy have to be for about a week.

  6. Looking for a apartment condo for a 6 week rental period within Bkk whilst I am having treatment @ Bumrungrad, is it possible to rent out anywhere for this length of time and are there any companies that offer this.

  7. I have seen many Thai people give to beggars....they seem to have a feel for the genuine ones.

That's hit the nail on the head you see some people seriously deformed, limbs missing and other pyhisical disibilties. Then you see lazy tw@t's that just don't appear not wanting to work eg the women carrying the baby and the fat kid wanting money for food in Nana.
