Honestly, the vast differences in rates between private and government hospitals leaves one's mind boggled.  Especially if you consider that both provide acceptable care and treatment.

Hopefully the on-going government discussions about rates at private hospitals will be successful in narrowing the gap.

Had treatment almost as bad in a few Ontario hospitals, and  I is an Ontarioite.

Whatever your family wants is not important. They only do this when its suspicious (just like in my country). But what is suspicious about someone dying in his sleep on a sofa under a blanket in his underewear. Unless clear signs of poisoning or violence there is no need.

At least that is how it goes in my country.. but it s more what is the rule in Thailand. I doubt that every body gets an autopsy.

"Many states have one done when a person dies without a doctor present. Twenty-seven states require it if the cause of death is suspected to be from a public health threat, such as a fast-spreading disease or tainted food."(WebMD)

Apparently 6-7000 'volunteers' came through a Chinese foundation. So they're setting up an investigation into the misuse of volunteer visas up to last year or earlier this year I think they said on the news. Which sounds like up to the period people on here started reporting it was no longer a possibility.

    Germany.

Living in Thailand since a few years and having experienced more police corruption in just one of any of these years than my other 25 years of my life in Germany.

Corruption in the RTP is not an exception but the rule. Heck, these "extra payments" are the main reason for many young Thai boys to be a policeman ????

Speaking of extra payments wouldn't it be interesting to see how many police officers in non-corrupt countries make it on sunshine lists compared to here ????

It's hard to even get vitamin D3 here and in India most people have low amounts of this vitamin ,which gives them a lower immune system to fight covid.

possibly D3 is sparse now because if America had to worry about people drinking Lysol following the commander in chief's suggestion, too many here might eat it like candy and create another health crisis ????

The package was intended for someone else. As it's written on it. Let's not engage in wrongful arrests. That's a criminal offence these days.

The fact that she signed it simply proves that the package got delivered. That's all. It's very unfortunate that the coppers are mentally challenged over here.

not going through the whole thing now to see if anybody else caught it, apparently the $30,000 goal was reached as of the 21st. .
