Wake up and smell the coffee, Most governments couldn’t give 2 hoots about their citizens or any other

That doesn’t ring with a positive note

I’m happy, booze has stopped, eating and cooking at home only, saving money hand over fist, new way of life. The new normal is fine by me

Every time I go to a market/food mall all the punters are wearing masks but only 50% of the vendors doing so, even though they are serving food. Disgraceful

Can I assume masks are not the answer? 99.9% here wear masks, where are these huge numbers of infections coming from?

I’m on the understanding that vaccinations are always tested on animals first, I will volunteer to be last or forgotten

As usual, no thought went into this order, I personally wouldn’t think it would stand up in a court of law anywhere on this planet, riding a motorcycle without a mask, how about people with Asma etc surely they would be exempt??

Based on science or a hunch:-)

If I relied on an income from tourists there, words could not describe how I would feel. Amoeba have got more brains than who ever came up with that incredible solution to invigorate tourism

The government not really care about health, even e cigs known to reduce health problems have been rejected here in thailand

Speed isn’t really the issue, driving too close is the cause of most carnage, poor eyesight is not far behind

Any bike training insists you go as fast or slightly faster than the traffic to eliminate being knocked off, reducing the speed has the chance of a greater impact caused by reducing the ability to avoid a collision. Education, education, education, without that you have mayhem

This story creates so many thinking processes:
They were in 4 cars. Where in the procession, was the car that had human remains under it?
If they were 1st, 2nd and third - did they see it?
Did any of them hit it?
Did the police check under the other three cars for other evidence?
Did the other four drivers see a dog carcass?
did they see anything?
When the driver saw the dog carcass, did he drive over it?
Why didn't he drive around it?
How fast were they all going?
Did anyone feel of hear anything as the driver went over the carcass, human or dog?
Why didn't they stop to check for car damage, at the very least?
Didn't the thought occur to the driver, or other occupants that he should have checked what he had hit? After all, he only 'thought' he saw a dog carcass.
And finally,
How could anyone continue their happy holiday with the death of a human being being so closely linked to their vehicle, whether that unfortunate person was dead or alive prior to being glued to the underside of this guy's car?
Asking questions causes more work. That is what would normally take place, Thailand have different ways of doing things

No testing, no virus, not a bad strategy, a bit like Sweden I guess

I’m sure if that was the case the same would apply to foreign nationals over seas. Get real, no one can be forced, maybe persuaded as they are in other parts of the world, their good at that here:-)

Bring it on, can’t wait to see the confusion when you turn up without a phone etc I know two people here that would not have a clue how to use a smart phone, how about thailand suppling a phone with data or an Apple Tracker when they come out

Personally I think they are trying to keep the dream alive by giving the desperate people false hope. Not sure who’s leading everyone over a cliff, but I have a good idea
