You most probably won't make any money but you might find doing a small holding is better. We just brought 2 rai at about 400k (200k per rai) it has underground water so we will dig a pond for fish, grow fruit trees and vegetables, also keep chickens and goats. The idea is we become a little bit self-sufficient. So what we don't eat we sell to pay electricity and water bill. We also breed German Shepherds and Doberman, ( yes we are registered with the Thailand Kennel Association) so security is no problem.

Stock up, I got about 6-8 boxes of their red label tea which is not bad. 115bht for 80, was reduced to 80bht, and their last box of earl grey, told once gone no more.

Pop into 7/11 my wife got a good phone in there for just over 500bht for my 13 year old son, he can't take it to school, uses it for about 1 hr in the evening and on the weekend. Why pay more they are only going to drop the damm thing ????????

KAPE we used to call it in the British Army. Keep the Army in the Public Eye the aim it to get the Army and civilians helping each other, we did it by Shows at country fairs etc, here they do it different,as for sending them south I think as with most military that might be done on a rotation , but its the Thai Army so who are we to judge

If they changed the P**s poor attitude of the old teachers in the village schools, it might help. My wife father and mother are teachers both in there late 50's in a village school and both are of the understanding they can not be wrong . When a new younger teacher comes with modern idea's to try to help the young children he/she is ganged up against and told to do it there way. Best thing they can do here retire anyone over 50 look at joining village schools to pool resources and stop having Thai's that can not speak English teach English and let the children have an opinion

the guy on Sukhumvit still walks about mainly between a garage where he gets cleaned up and big c and tesco's ,i think he has moved into one of the many places being built around here at night and day time hangs out on the police chair,seems quite contempt

All should hold a PCV Licence ( Passenger carrying vehicle) which should include first aid ,highway code, speed awareness.
Vans should have 2 maintenance Inspections a year and vans must be fitted with seat belts if caught with out the correct paperwork,licence then driver and company should be fined by a court not a policeman,licence revoked and van crushed.
Maybe introduce electronic tachographs, driver hrs regulations on all Passenger and heavy vehicles
All Operators of vans/buses and trucks must hold a operators licence and only be given to a company if have a qualified transport or logistics manager (maybe just a dream)
