  1. Not likely in Singapore but in Vientiane you may be able to obtain a 2 entry visa. There has never been a limit to one tourist visa or 3 months outside to apply for another (there used to be a visa exempt requirement but that ended years ago) but suspect that Consulate is using such in view of your travel history. Normally Vientiane will allow up to 5 tourist visas in passport.

Hi, im italian, i already used 1 double and 1 single entry + extensions. My fly back is in January 2013. Im looking for a legal job and i have a monthly income from Italy and rent house contract. Said so i d to apply for a single or double entry but i never been in Vietnam. 30/60 days entry can only be made by Thai embassy not at the border? In that case how far is embassy from border? Ive been in Cambodian border once. What about Thai embassy there? Thanks for help.
  2. If the reason you are going to Samet is for an "Island experience" then I would strongly recommend going to Koh Chang instead which is 1000 times more beautiful and 1000 times cheaper then Samet.

Also what the posters here are talking about is a town called "Trat" that is basically the town where you depart from to catch the ferry to Koh Chang but is also the hub for doing border runs to Cambodia as said: "Had Lek" but do NOT take a songtaew there. Take a mini van unless you enjoy the open air concept which I do as I am a smoker. Takes about 1 hour to get to the border. When you do your visa thing then check out the market on the Thai side which has a lot of cool cheap stuff to buy and then just get back on any of the mini vans or songteaws that are parked there going back to Trat.

Thanks. The reson for Samed is becouse some friends are there and my idea was to go first there for a few days and then to border 1 day....just not to make all in one day Bkk-Cambodia-Bkk......but ive found interesting the advice for Koh chang.
  3. Hi, im an italian tourist and i have a double entry visa 60+60 days. The first entry will expire next january 7. Thai embassy in milan told me that i can ask immigration for 30 days extension, is it true? ( italy embassy in bangkok told me only 7 days)!

if yes, can i ask extension again after the expire of second entry? It will take me to may as my fly back is on march 28.

to obtain the second entry (60 days) do i have to go out of thailand or can i deal with immigration too?

what do i need to show to obtain 30 days extension and eventually the secon entry?

    Thanks a lot.
