  1. By the way I would like to add a crucial information, from 2023 experience  with my METV (Multi-Entry Tourist Visa)

When I had METV in 2023, and I did a crossing from Laos to Nong Khai to start my  1st entry on METV (I received the METV when I arrived in Thailand already as I entered on visa exempt, and 15 days later I received on my email the METV)

So, I went to Laos FB1 & go back to Nong Khai, in the minute, I put my E-Visa Paper on the desk, but the IO, didn't look at it almost ! and he stamped me right away the TR60 stamp on my passport, so after this, I though he just see my visa on the database as I guess it's linked directly with the data of the passport, & the visa.

But what is more amazing, is when I used to use the another entries of my METV by arriving in SVB airport on the next times, the IO always looking and reading the E-Visa paper carefully, & scan the QR code included in the visa paper on his machine.. which it was pretty different than the land border crossing. So for me it's really wondering how their system work..

Just a supposition, maybe he look the number of the visa on the TM6 form.. and put this on his database and find out the visa. (while crossing on land border in FB1)

Also entered once this year in SVB on visa exempt, the IO, asked me, do you have visa ? I said no.. he said, what are you doing in Thailand ? I said just travel around Asia, then looked my stamp for a minutes, & finally stamped out for 30 days.

  2. Hello,

    I would like to enter with a visa-exempt entry ( 30 days ),

Then as I am already in Bangkok, I would like going with my Thai child to Chaweng Wattana to process with the 60 days extension visa.

Is possible to do this the just fews days after of arrival ? ( I remember they are asking to have maximum 45 days before the visa finish if not is too early for them ) but I am gonna using a visa-exempt this time

How long do I need to wait that the hotel send the TM30 to the Immigration and being registered into the Immigration system, before I go visit them?

( I know the hotel is keeping asking the TM6 departure card to do the copy, and make also copy of the stamp, so I guess they do the TM30 report ? )

  3. Recenlty, I've heard someone in here, told that he needed a financial requirements of 200,000 THB but he was waived exceptionally.

Do actually to get that Non-O visa based on Thai Child, require to show financial requirements of 200,000 THB in Vientiane, or Savannakhet ?

    What about Penang also ?

If the money is in foreign bank account like in France, can it also work for the requirements ?

    Thanks

You should have applied for a Non O or B in Malaysia rather trying to enter as a tourist.

You can easily get a Single Entry Non O in the UK with a copy of your child’s birth certificate. That will give you 90 days on entry and you can apply for a work permit and work with this visa/stay permit.

Thai Embassies in UK, they also can give NON-O to any European citizens who have Thai Child ? or should be resident in UK even being EU citizen ?

  5. I've a Thai/EU child, ( dual citizen ) but I am always showing his EU passport, ( to avoid any problem at each exit of Thailand )

I am coming often to Thailand using exempt entries, with my daughter, I am often in Southeast Asia.

I've a flight from Philippines going to Don Muaeng.

I don't have the 20,000 THB in case they will ask me.

What gonna happened if they wanted to deny entry me, as I've a EU/Thai Child. But I don't have his thai passport.

Just only a copy of his Thai birth certificate, and copy of his previous thai passport with me..

What the IO gonna do in that case ?

They will deny entry both of us ? despite the child have thai citizenship.

They will deny me entry, and put the child under there custody for "her" mother get her ? By the way I don't have contact with her mother.

The situation is very complicated, while on case they willing to deny entry me, what gonna happened on that case.. weird and stressful

Sorry but I cannot make the NON-O visa, too much complicated and they don't provide it to me in Philippines, the Thai Embassy

I don't think you can change anything after you have registered. I just checked and there appears to be no way to do it. Perhaps do a new registration with your new passport number and a different email address. But I think you could show your old passport along with the new one and use the old one for the appointment.

You get a email confirming the appointment that you can print out to show them.

Is the child applying for a visa?

Yes there is a child also who will apply..

and the visa form for print is acceptable ? so to make it before to reach embassy

  7. Hello, I got renewal of my passport, but seems.. it's not possible to change the number of the passport.

I went to the menu, but when I insert my new number passport, there is no anywhere where I can press "OK" or "Change" ..

Do I need to make a new account on ThaiVisaVientiane ?

By the way also, if I print the form online, it will be accepted for apply the visa ?

And also, a visa minor citizen what is need to give to the Embassy ( a copy of birth certificate of the child, both ID of the parent ? )

And also a Thai Citizen travelling to Thailand with a foreign passport can also apply a tourist visa at Vientiane ?

  8. In case a binational child ever used a Thai passport & using now only EU passport to in/out Thailand, can the IO know that the child used previously a Thai passport ? (same name name birth date) and make problem to the child leaving Thailand on the basis the child is Thai as he used Thai passport previously and asking proof of conscent of the mother ? ( especially if the child leaving on overstay )

  9. Hello, I would like to know if it's sure, if it's possible to add a RE-ENTRY PERMIT on a visa-exempt entry which is extended for 60 days (thai child) ? of EU citizen. At Chaweng Wattana..

I'll enter in Thailand, & have only three days and will go to PI, but I wish to extend it for 60 days and get the re-entry permit to avoid problem when I'll be back again after a week ( I am scared they will said, you are using so many visa-exempt entries ) I'll be back to Thailand with my PI girlfriend..

The Embassy where I live need to be out of Thailand for 3 months before can ask a Tourist visa.. so I cannot apply a visa.

By the way I've some another ask :

Do the extension of the THAI CHILD, can be problematic to exit with my thai daughter using her EU passport ?

They may said.. Ah, you extended your stay because of Thai Child, so your daughter is also Thai! we need conscent of the mother, ( despite she using her EU passport )

She of course will using her EU passport to enter/exit Thailand to avoid any problem with the Immigration (about the conscent of the mother, etc..)

The mother already give me a conscent letter which is issued 2 years ago... which she stated that my daughter can live with me in Europe.. but is old paper; and not legalized by any authorities.. and her mother cannot reach she have new life somewhere.. where I Don't know! so I'm scared to be in troubles.. when leaving Thailand with IO because my daughter is Thai citizen.. despite using her EU passport

Oh also.. what I ask the extension the next day of my arrival in Thailand ?

If I stay in the hotel it should be Ok ? what they will ask as proof of residence..

I will just stay in hotel but maybe they will don't get the TM30 as my arrival is too early ? Totally confuse

  10. I got omeprazole without any prescription in Philippines in almost all pharmacy despite is wrote PX on the medicine

I got the generic one for around 10 pesos each,

getting amoxicilline exemple maybe only half of pharmacy will give it without prescription.. and not the big brand pharmacy of course.

  11. hello,

I coming often to Thailand, but usually for short time.. alot of exempt entries.. and as I've seen so many denied entry.

Especially I am using Don Mueang or either SVB

The thing is I am always coming with my thai daughter.. she's half Thai, and half EU.

But I always use her EU passport.. because using her Thai passport can get me troubles if I exit Thailand. She used her EU passport for entry/exit Thailand without any problem or questionning.

So what if in case the IO would like to put me in trouble and deny my entry ?

Should I say, I am coming in Thailand often because my daughter is Thai ? ( I don't want show the Thai passport )

I just have her copy of Thai birth certificate.

Do the IO, will problably be more "understanding" in this situation and let me pass ?

I am just afraid, they will said, we will take your daughter, but you, you will be denied entry & they will send my daughter to some social care, as she's count as Thai Citizen and cannot be denied entry ?

I don't have also much contact with her mother.. and I've no legitimization over the kid
