It might help if you name the product you are using. There is plenty of software related to divx. Maybe somebody knows the one you are using and can instruct you. Or somebody can suggest a better alternative that is easier to use.

yes if you want to play a DIVX Movie you need a DIVX player, but you can buy multi players

mine is a DIVX, DVD, CD etc player, just have to look around.

What are you trying to do exactly?

I am trying to burn video files onto a DVD disc. I have placed my video files into the DivX media library, then I have to drag the files over to the burn to disc, but the software will not recognise that there is a blank disc in the e-drive and I cannot burn them onto a disc untill it does.

Any suggestions?

I am having trouble with downloaded software, (Nero Startsmart, Format factory etc) every time I download them onto my computer the language on the start-up is always Thai, How can I change the language to English?

Went here is ask this question last week, they do not renew passports and they will not act as Post Office so its back to Bangkok as usual.

If they can't help with passport renewals then what ever are they going to do to justify an office in Pattaya?

My internet provider is IP-Star which I get via the offices of Loxinfo in Pattaya. For the past ten days I have been experiencing problems. At 9 am my connection is cut and does not get reconnected until 6 pm. Despite the fact that I am paying for a 24hrs connection.

Having had enough of this I went to their offices in the vain hope that a complaint would help to sort this problem out only to find that the office was closed for the whole day and as they do not open over the weekend (!)

Has anybody else out there had any similar problems or is it just me?

I need some information concerning a package of TV and internet offered by Banglamung cable TV. The package includes:

HiSpeed Internet 2M powered by CAT.

Internet phone.

Cable TV (analog at the moment but I have been assured that this will be digital within 6 months).

Installation and modem.

I get all this for 39,900THB up front, with nothing to pay for 24 months then after that period 2,800 THB per month.

Can anybody please tell me if they have had a similar package and has it been value for money? Is the computer access really high speed? And how do I find out what channels BTV cable TV carries.

assuming you are using Windows -

right click the file - properties - and check if "hidden" is marked. If yes "unmark" it.

What kind of extension has the file in question?

HI, I have been downloading old TV shows from Guba.com and burning them on to DVD, I am using Roxio Media Creator 9 and Sony DVD-R discs however the last three have had the sound out of sync. Watching them on the computer they are fine, any suggestions?

I use a Roxio easy Media Creator program. You can either burn in the same avi/DivX format downloaded from Guba (most DVD's will play this format these days) or you can convert to DVD format and burn all in one but this does take longer.

I have been downloading videos from Guba and I want to burn them onto DVD. I use Nero Start Smart and I have been getting the following message:

'Sorry your compilation cannot be written on this kind of disc, please insert a disc of the correct type or modify the settings of your compilation to make it compatible with the current disc'.

I used Sony DVD-R discs first and when I had this message I changed to Sony DVD-RW with the same result.

I think that the very idea of 'Rememberance Day' is beyond your understanding and as a mark of respect you should keep your comments for another time and leave those who do understand to their thoughts and reflections.

I think you might be right on that. During our two years in Italy we experienced only one incident of someone making a derogatory comment - and that was an English woman.

While I'm very pro Britain I'll not deny that spite and evny is a national trate in the UK. (we see plenty of incidences of this Spite and Envy here on TV) - So I also don't think the comments are limitted to having an Asian wife, I think for the British anything different or beyond expectations is the stuff of S&E.

You are wrong to think 'Envy' is a national trate in the UK, during my travels in Italy I have seen many examples of it. Perhaps you are just out of touch. Look at every nations TV its all about envy and as for Spite you are way off.
