  1. Our infamous media moguls aren't prepared to voice concerns abt things like Bangkok Pattaya Hospital as they don't see it being in there interest, very selective journalism, very much like dr ian who can be found at just abt every free event in town.doesn't he work at the said hospital ???? surely he could voice the public concern,he's on the tv enough but maybe to busy getting pissed on free drinks.

  2. Thai red bricks only used on the outside covered terrace and outside covered walkways where I wasn't so bothered abt the insulation but still used double brick. The house was built using high insulation super block.Everywhere is double brick with cavity. stgrhe i think another 4 months to complete everything including landscape, the internal finish & furnished. How long have you been building your place ?

  3. All comments most welcome, even sly digs abt Pattaya girls getting lucky !!! must be a few guys been "stung"out there getting all vindictive.....no drama from my side there... best of luck next time mate....

Re insulation...investigated very well, installed correctly. Not standard thai Alu sheet used, more of a bubble wrap material not that common on thai builds but very common in high climate euro countries, which highlights clearly which way is "up".You may also notice the triangular section on the roof which also assists greatly in ventilation and the type of tile are also not standard thai roof tile but specifically chosen for insulation purpose.

Other things investigated which may not be clear on photo is cavity wall - specific brick used on each wall dependant on direction, utility of room etc.

    earthing throughout.

comments are most welcome but please keep to the topic and lay off the pattaya girl basher posts.......take a good look at yourselves before you post....maybe its you your questions are aimed at ????

  8. Iam currently building a place,or just starting, permits etc,so not in the market to buy however

I've had a good luck round and to be honest there's some great bargains out there for buying a house right now,I've seen numerous properties reduced to the 10 mil bracket which I believe are well worth 10 mil. They where overpriced before but now I think is a good time to haggle.I noticed a house advertised for 27 mil reduced to 14 with a 3 year let at 120k a month,I think thats a decent buy.I think it was near the croc park.

  9. St Andrews is a 07.30 pick up getting home 16.30 hrs.

I don't believe Religious Education is taught there. It seems to be a quite good school and my eldest enjoys it there,I just wish these schools would realise its not always corporate companies paying and reduce their fees somewhat for parents who pay themselves as I can't see how a school can justify 300 k plus a year fees.
