Hmm... You claim it is true for most countries, but it'd be wonderful even if you named a single one - it'd be the first one for me to know.Weird rules - amen to that. In most countries, anyone living legally can work, without a work permit. Residence can be acquired legally by anyone in the country legally and all residents can work. -
No, they can't. It must be said that getting a work permit in Russia is a nightmare.if Thais can work freely in Russia -
There is a certain degree of xenophobia in Russia, true, but it is mostly directed towards those who are perceived as potential danger by the Russian society: massive low-class labour immigration from certain Central Asian countries and people from the Northern Caucasus with their clan mentality. I've never witnessed any aggression towards S-E Asians. I traveled around Russia with my Thai friend for 4 weeks about an year ago and encountered no instances of phobia or aggression based on his ethnicity.Russia is an extremely dangerous place for dark-skin foreigners.Saying 'Russia is an extremely dangerous place for dark-skin foreigners' is simply untrue.

What makes you think the rules are not clear? They are. See EU visa code, annex VII (page 38 of the PDF document). It seems that the rules are not clear but the best understanding would be we can stay 6 days total. -
That is not correct. The number in this field is, as others have already said, the maximum permitted total length of stay in days (and don't forget that the day of entry and day of exit count both as full days!).I beg to differ from the above opinions. In a multiple entry visa (for example a 6 months or 1yr multiple entry business visa for schengen countries), duration of stay refers to maximum permitted stay in schengen territory for each visit. The only exception to this is when the number has the largest possible value, 90. Then it means a maximum of 90 days within any 180-day period, starting with the day of first entry (if the visa is valid for more than 180 days, of course).

Not necessarily. It depends on the policy of every particular country, and sometimes particular embassy/consulate.Next time getting the visa will be easier will be easier. -
Yeah. I'm now trying to help my friend to arrange a transit visa for Ukraine (just to have a good sleep in hotel during a 14-hour layover in Kyiv), and can't even simply reach them over the telephone. For example, I have never heard of the Chinese embassy refusing to issue a visa to a Thai. -
There are charter flights from VKO. Once monthly or something like that. And I've heard of a guy who managed to buy tickets and get there.Spitzbergen ,nobody needs a visa since 1920 convention. However unless taking your own boat need visa for Norway to get there.

This happened because Mexicans admit everyone who has a valid US visa (any type) which has already been used for entry to the USA.Last summer my partner and I flew from the U.S. to Mexico and he was not asked for a visa. He had an educational visa to study in the U.S. and this was between terms at his university. But the Mexicans didn't ask to see it, just stamped his Thai passport. -
Yeah, sure, though I fail to understand why. There's a well-mantained list in Wikipedia, there is Timatic after all (though of course Timatic is only for air travellers).Well i think the person who put this list up did a great job
It's true that here I come, and it's a lie that I start slagging. I pointed out a couple of actual errors. I am not trying to belittle the effort done, but the list does have flaws as a matter of fact, and what does that mean? That means it must be taken critically, and that's it.and here you come on and start slagging it
Yes, we've done it several times with my Thai b/f. I had to obtain VoA (there was quite a queue!) and he passed through immigration very quickly. I am not quite sure if my memory serves me correctly but AFAIR there was a minor hassle with migration forms. Aboard plane everyone was given the same sort of migration forms, but upon arrival it turned out that they were different for VoA and visa-free nationals.Anyone know if bali is visa free for thai? I read that some parts of indonesia are not visa free. -
This list seems to have flaws.
For example, Kosovo is not listed, while Abkhazia, South Ossetia are (and Transnistria for some reason is listed under Russia).

AFAIK there's no airside transit in USA. Even refuelling stops (except one case) require everyone to undergo immigration and customs.
