If I'm reading on the net right. Divarium is located in the Jomtien complex. I'm guessing I can walk over as well or is the menu strictly for phone orders only?
Never mind, I found their FB page. It's listed as a gay bar and restaurant. The dead giveaway is they have a menu item listed as the Big C*** Burger 555. No problem I have no phobia as I lived in San Francisco for a couple years. Gotta say they seem to have some pretty good prices and reviews.

Somewhat related is Falafel Ruty who operates a stand in the Jomtien night market.
I'm not an expert on this type of food but found her falafels in pita bread quite tasty.
She's also just branched out a stand quite recently in the Avenue shopping center on
2nd road adding a shakshuka dish to her menu there

On Bryan Flowers latest YT video, he states that Robins Nest is for sale asking price 6 million baht.
-
Bryan Flowers of the Nightwish group recently uploaded a video on Youtube discussing the recent purchase of Pook Plaza by the Insomnia group for the purposes of turning it into a nightclub. He also admitted his own scouting interests of vacant establishments in the soi bukhao/LK metro area . One was the Climax bar which is rumored to be bought by the Rock Factory group. So there seems to be some wheeling dealing going on to what effect who knows.

It being another holiday weekend, Pattaya should probably expect large crowds again.

Yes desperate but 80 baht is better than zero baht and it's working already, busy, for this weekend anyway
Not sure if this weekend is a good measuring stick as it's the tail end of a Thai holiday weekend.

Biden is boring but being president is not about entrrtainment value.
Yup, It's similar to watching NASCAR for the crashes, today’s society would rather chance seeing a melt down over a calm person answering questions. What fun is that?

I'm staying at VT2. We lost our 3BB connection for about an hour right after the Hanuman statue explosion, but it's been on and working since.

Bitter pill for the new owner.... only purchased it last year.
If I'm not mistaken and to a lesser extent Fryday's changed hands as well.

Road thru New Plaza around 5PM this evening and unfortunately it looks like Fryday's has met it's demise. Their were 4 thai guys gutting it taking out all the fixtures as I rode past.

I have no idea how Biden Harris would react to 45 if he refuses to leave office after losing and riles up his armed crazy base. That is unprecedented in American history. We haven't had a wannabe fascist dictator before. Another reason that horribly corrupt man has got to go! All decent Americans realize that including many republicans. (See the LINCOLN PROJECT).
There is no chance the republicans will take over the house in this election.
They may narrowly hold on to the senate.
I don't think you can abolish a major tax law such as the 45 tax cut for billionaires with an executive order.
Obviously it will be difficult for Biden - Harris to get very much changed if they don't control the senate, but at the very least the wannabe fascist dictator will be gone.
Biden's already addressed this would be "Must see TV"

No, if you go to Fedex's prohibitions page (don't have the URL handy at the moment) it says no debit cards and this is not specific to Vietnam.
I received my last 2 Schwab debit cards here in Thailand via Fedex. Guess I'm lucky.

Finally making the move to Pattaya and will be living in Jomtien (VT5). I am mystified by the Baht bus (sangtaews) routes and the numbering system. Is there by chance a map? (I can hear the guffaws from here). Or simply a list of their numbers and general routes? Thanks in advance.
This maybe of some help.

Actually had a friend of mine who lives in VT2 facing the pattaya side tell me that last night the baht bus running the route on Thappraya road was scarce around 8PM and non-existent after 9PM. Which kind of makes sense considering the drivers need to drop off baht buses and make their way home before the 11PM curfew.
-
Would anyone know with the curfew still intact at 11PM, what time the baht bus cease's to operate heading back to Jomtien?

According to the news today, the beaches in Pattaya (and surrounding areas) will be open again on 1 June.
Open for "all activities" is what it said so that will make some people happy. They haven't felt the tender caress of a ladyboy pick-pocket for months now !

Agreed. The car is 2 years old. Doesn't matter if it was rarely used. It won't be considered "brand new" in any way in the sellers market.
