@JackThompson  I don't think they are hesitant to do the final (permitted to stay) stamp.  based on my experience yesterday at CW and MTT (today), CW Information Desk (they are not IO, perhaps) are not sure and assume it's not necessary. I had assumed that MTT was closed and that is why i went there.

Today at MTT, I was the only customer and the stamp was issued immediately.  The IO was very polite and explained that I didn't need it to exit Thailand but if there was to be another extension, then .....

Based on my experience I suggest just ask for a queue number and insist on the permitted stamp.  Play the overly eager farang.  I will sleep easier knowing I have it now

Thank you for this report. I do have 2 "under consideration stamps"..will go back Tuesday and try to get a "final" stamp after reading this thread.

Arrived on visa exempt in jan did my 30 day extension that was valid until march 30th.

Got under consideration to april 21st, and on 21st another "under consideration", was told to report back on april 29, went and got shushed away.

Exactly - was no conversion and have to head back 1st May. I've attached photo for clarification.

Could be many reasons, one that paperwork is less for such a stamp, so until they know what's happening may as well keep me ticking over easiest way possible rather than change to amnesty which is only 9 days left.

I'll be making up my mind come 1st May and my re-visit to the immigration office on whether to just pack up and go isolate somewhere else until they re-open their borders to continue my Non-B process or if given the choice, continue to stay.

I have rented a lovely place for myself to work in peace for the last month, but thatruns out on 3rd May so it's all a tad stressful - but definitely not keen to throw myself into the bustle of international travel looking for new digs =/

I must have arrive to late for 1st of may. Had under consideration stamp until today (april 21st) aswell. But was give a new under consideration and was told to report back on april 29.

Entered on visa exemption late January and first normal extension expired march 30th.

  3. Normally i just watch it on online ppv or some crappy stream.

But the upcoming DIF - aik derby (september 16, 19:00,bkk time) deserves to be watched on a bigger screen with some athmosphere, dont have the extra cash for a flight ticket just for this so now im looking for some Pub that is showing Allsvenskan.

Biggest derby in scandinavia and alot of swedes here in bangkok so should be somewhere one could watch this game??

    Thank you.
