My bank manager laughed at me. He said how we know you didn't have a friend take your money. Now the main branch in BKK will not even return my calls when i ask about the investigation. Real joke !

Most likely he called the Pattaya emergency number 1669 where they not speak English and hang up on you. Result is DIE in room. !!!

You could memorise and call 1719 for Bangkok Pattaya Hospital instead, but they probably ask for your credit card details first..

Alternatively, the body snatchers in the pick-ups will come and get you.

Thank you but i not have credit card. 1 time when i did have a credit card and taken unconscious to Pattaya Int'l hosp they charged 25,000 bt to the card. They removed from my wallet as i was unconscious.

Pattaya city say's in emergency call 1669 mainly for tourists. Has anyone ever found a English speaking person at this emergency number ? I have called a few times just to ask if in a emergency can i get a ambulance .1669 is the emergency room of Banglamung Hospital. Where as i have found English is not spoken. Therefore as you're laying on the floor dying of a stroke the person who answers 1669 can only say in English to farang. Call private hospital in Pattaya. Then hangs up phone. I guess living with Thai girl you will get a ambulance but try calling on your own. You will be found next day by cleaning lady. The news will say farang found dead in room.

i am living comfortably in pattaya on my social security. if i was trying to do same in the USA i would be eating out of garbage cans and sleeping in a shelter. only benefit i miss is my free medical insurance with the VA since i'm a veteran.

There is no Thai bank including my bank ( BKK Bank ) That gives a shit how much money is stolen from farang account.

It is? I use BB and only get an SMS when money goes into my account, but not withdrawn.

I use BKK Bank and same no SMS if ATM transaction withdrawing money.

I have had 92,000 baht taken from my account at ATM in Pattaya. I learned the hard way to never use a outside aTM. Only if the bank is open and not next to a exchange booth. There was a camera installed on the roof of the aTM and my card was stuck in the ATM about 5 minutes. When it came out i walked away. In about 3 days they started withdrawing my money. I have sMS service from my bank but not if money is withdrawn . The bank manager laughed at me when i made the report of theft. He said " how does the bank know if i didn't have a friend withdraw my money " The police could do nothing. Only request pictures of whoever withdrew my money. Of course his face was hidden.

What if marry Thai. Do you then get government insurance ? I have been to government hospitals many times in Sriracha and Sattahip. Every time i paid the bill which is very little compared to private hospitals. Even with the surchagre for being non Thai.

I just spoke th there landlord on the phone. They have stopped paying there electric bill since Calif. WOW has not paid there rent or Electric for months. They suggested i find another gym. Besides not paying them i was told they have stopped paying there bank loan. I was told to find another gym and there sorry for the 20,000 baht i lost.

I just spoke to the landlord in bKK. Major Cineplex Property Ltd. They have told me , they have not been paid rent or Electric for months by Calif. gym. They can no longer carry there unpaid bills and haved stop paying there elect. As they told me " they have been geeting many calls and e-mails every day but can do nothing " The case is now in the hands of the court. she suggested i find another gym and is sorry for my loss of 20,000 baht.
