Poorly worded. I suspect they are talking about not sending a passport out to get a Thai Visa.

If they actually meant what they wrote, they are over stepping their job description.

There are other reasons that someone might send a passport out of the country.

you dont actually send your passport to Hong Kong only the application form. You jkeep your old passport with you here in Thailand.

When you leave the airport international terminal, walk to the right towards the domestic terminal. you will see a bus sitting there number 51. This goes into the city every 20 minutes and costs less than a dollar.

Hi, in regards to your travel Phu Quoc I travelled across into Cambodia via Hat Lek border point then took the bus to Sihanoukville where I got my visa for vietnam, takes a few hours, next day up to Phnom Phen where I arranged a trip with local tour company for bus and boat to Phu Quoc. You can also travel East to West across Cambodia to Kep via Sihanoukville and Kampot then arrange travel from there into Vietnam. Which is the way I did my return journey, in reverse of course.
