Address confirmation at immigration has always been free.

No problem getting the smaller plates made. The red plate is only temporary until the white plate with the real number is given.
Strictly speaking, red plates are only allowed on the road from sun up until sun down.

Bill went to live in Bangkok, maybe he's gone home due to ill health.
Bruce is still here in Phuket.

Sorry to disappoint, but, they all look like Mao Tse Tung.
The girls specialize in "older gentleman".

I do know that you have to hold a non-immigrant visa at the time of name change.

Rasseru, post # 11. Very witty!!
You are very kind. If one out of twenty of my desperate and foolish attempts at wit does anything better than invite pity, I am pleased.
Loved it!
The post after was the cherry on the cake.
Some people don't do irony.

Yes, the sports club is ideal. Spread out over four rai. Good also if you have to bring kids (though keep 'em away from the pond).

From wikipedia:-
"In total, 56 customers have placed orders for 1,107 777s, with 784 delivered as of May 31, 2009".
"By the end of July 2008, a total of 1,006 A330s[4] had been ordered and 555 delivered".

No Thai is ever going to spend cash to get a half share in a condo that he can't sell at a time of his choice..

I've just got to visit the Cum On bar and also see what's happening with the "circle"!
You are going to be severely disappointed with the Come On bar.

I just applied for a business visa to Aussie online. It was approved in 20 minutes and didn't cost a thing.

Two years ago! Blimey, where does the time go?
Glad to hear that some rules were put in place. I remember the thread for people to register their attendance for the Kata meet.
Seems that 90% of the people used their first post to register for free food and drink and that they would also be bringing a guest.
-
I was refering to the one that was held in Kata. Has there been one since?

Harley motor-bikes are classed as agricultural equipment. Good for pulling a plough maybe, but, otherwise all looks and no performance compared to a Honda, which has both.

The OP maybe right or not, I don't have a view. But it's interesting to note that the five posts following are from fairly new members, those with membership numbers in the high 50,000's and 60,000's. Maybe there's a honeymoon period folks go through before the novelty wears off, not sure, just a an observation.
Too many posters seem to think "new to Thaivisa = new to Thailand".
Rubbish!
I had already made my home in Thailand for 19 years before I joined TV.

The OP has 2 posts and is asking about a free BBQ.
Pretty much sums up TV BBQs in Phuket.
All newbie free-loaders and bugger-all regulars.

After waiting for four weeks for crumpets to reappear, I bought the last bag today (yipee!).
Does this mean another four week wait?

This supports the claim that the world wide economy is to blame.
Aussies now going back to Bali due to very cheap flights and expenses instead of Thailand. This is also what I have heard from a few Aussie friends.

I have read that tourism has dropped in all other Asian countries, too.

Unfortunately, PAWS has no claws......

If you go to Central Festival junction and take the road to Wat Chalong. Opposite the first 7/11 on the left side is a shop that sells them.

If you think Phuket traders are annoying and persistent, then, you obviously haven't been to Bali..........
