Is there anywhere in Phuket where you can donate to the RBL Poppy appeal and pick up a poppy or preferably an enamel 2020 pin?
Also is there anywhere on the 8th November that a service of remembrance is held?
Thanks

I'm coming up for my second application of extension of stay based on marriage. I was married to my wife, Thai National, in the UK and have a UK marriage certificate. Last year when I first applied I had to have my marriage affirmed by the UK Embassy, translated and then certified at the M.F.A. then presented the certified translation to the local Amphur, who retained the original certified translation and provided me with a KR22.
My question is do I need to obtain another, new marriage certificate affirmed by the UK Embassy, translated and then certified at the M.F.A., or can I use a copy of the one from last year to obtain a new KR22 for my Extension application this year.
I look forward to your reply.

Looking for some help.
I plan to take my car over to Kota Bahru and cross the border at Sungai Kolok but would like to know if you can buy car insurance for Malaysia at this crossing as is possible at the Dannock(Sadao) crossing?
Thanks in advance

Last Year I used Air Asia, 2 pax, I drove to Surat Airport in my own car, all in return flight and transport cost 7,700 Baht, I if wanted to fly by Bangkok Airways on the same day best return flight options available cost 17,000 Baht, It may have taken 5 hours to Bangkok and 4 1/2 Hours back as opposed to a realistic 3 hours each way using Bangkok airways but 9,300 Baht in my pocket to spend in Bangkok more than compensated, in my mind, the extra 3 1/2 hours travelling time.
Obviously not everybody has the time to travel via Surat and when I flew to the UK I used Bangkok Airways due to convenience but if your schedule allows the Surat options is definitely worth considering in my opinion.

Great I will be along to watch it.

Hi All,
Can anybody recommend a van rental company on Samui?
Van needs to be covered, secured and capable of carrying about 30 boxes each approximately 1 cubic metre in size?
Self drive or with driver is ok.
Must be able to drive the van off Samui but it will return to Samui.
Thanks

I drive a Honda and will be well pleased if they provide the same level of customer service as Surat Honda on the mainland. It will save me time and money at every service

It's that time again when I need a new Non imm B visa.
Due to the situation at the Thai consulate in Penang only issuing Non Imm B Multi entry visas to applicants with all relevant paperwork plus an 8 million Baht registered capital company, the company i work for is only 4 million Baht registered capital, is there anybody who has been to Penang recently who has been successful in applying for a Non Imm B Multi entry visa with less than 8 million baht registered capital.
I have been to KL and Kota Bahru for my last two successful applications and would like to visit Penang again if viable.
Thanks for your replies.

I bought one of these about 6 months ago in Nathon. On the 2nd road there is a shop that has rubbish bins etc outside and lots of crockery and cooking utensils inside. When I explained what I wanted they knew straight away I think it was about 400 baht.
