The "old" PC based 90 Day online reporting system used to work fine for me, but in the last 6 months it just referred me to my local Immigration office. So, I've just tried the new smartphone system for the first time and it works really well. I accessed it via https://www.immigration.go.th/?avada_portfolio=provide-services-at-bangkok scanned the QR code to get straight to the site and registered. Confirmation of registration came back immediately so I entered my details and 90 Day approval came back within 24 hours. Brilliant. Well done Thai Immigration.

Warning: this is a complicated and contentious issue. Over the last month there been a thread running (linked below) with 33 pages of comments. The short answer is, well, there really is no short answer. the consensus that is there are two things you have to do: 1. inform Wise they need to "tag" your account to utilize BBK bank for transfers to Thailand, and 2. to always select "funds for long term stay in Thailand" as the reason for the transfer. This is working for us now. Is it a 100% guarantee of an FTT code? No, probably not.
Thanks for that excellent info.

EVA flies direct BR67 every Sunday.
Not according to their website. All dates in July/August as showing N/A

But there are no direct flights to London with EVA, BA or Thai. Why is that?

I thought the Thai Govt. had banned all international passenger commercial flights in and out of Thailand, but tonight 4 airlines are listed to depart; KLM to Amsterdam, Thai to Tokyo, Emirates to Dubai and Lufthansa to Frankfurt. Can somebody please explain?

I replied to a question about entry to the UK and mandatory quarantine.
Travellers from Thailand are not exempt the mandatory quarantine when arriving in the UK.
You're correct, sorry.

The UK imposed a quarantine from June 8th for all arrivals.
From July 10th, the quarantine will be lifted for Countries not deemed high risk.
Surprisingly, Thailand isn't on that list.
Coronavirus (COVID-19): countries and territories exempt from advice against ‘all but essential’ international travel
The FCO updated its global advisory against ‘all but essential’ travel, exempting destinations that no longer pose an unacceptably high risk for British travellers.
Thailand is now on the list

If you're doing it by the "800,000 Baht in the bank" method, make sure the money was there 2 months before the date you apply, not 2 months before your current extension expires.
-
My Extension of Stay expires on 19 July. I have kept 400,000 baht in Fixed Term A/c since last renewal and opened a new 6 month Fixed Term A/c with 400,000 baht on 27 April (2 months and 3 weeks before expiry date). I went to Jomtien Immigration today (23 June) to renew (3 weeks and a few days early) and my application was rejected. Immigration officers insist that my second 400,000 has to be in the bank account 2 months before the application date, not the expiry date. I didn't know that! They told me to go back on 27 June. Just so you know ????

Yes it does.
Thanks Joe, I was hoping you would reply. What happens therefore, if the couple split up, get divorced or the lady dies?
-
Does the annual renewal of the Marriage Extension require the presence of the wife at Immigration?

The system doesn't like Firefox and won't accept @AOL.com email address. Works perfectly with Microsoft Edge and Gmail.

Now we have news of a British criminal with the infection who was in a Thai jail. He travelled to Britain on a commercial airliner and probably has infected hundreds of other people. Yes, let the Chinese come to Thailand....what could possibly go wrong! ????
Reported in UK MSM as testing negative. False alarm!

Thai online computer systems prefer Microsoft Edge users. Try it.

Visas cannot be renewed so what do you have now? An unexpired visa or an extension of stay?
KarlS, this post and your subsequent posts, indicate that you ignored the first word of the post's title. A touch of humility would not go amiss.

I've just got back after 4 weeks in UK and my CTH channels are all mixed up; e.g Stadium 1 was channel 131 and is now channel 56. There also seem to be some old channels missing. Was a notice put out by CTH? Does anyone have any info? I've looked at the CTH website but there's no complete new channel schedule. Thanks in advance.

Arrived around 11 ish and stayed for about 1 hour. Looked to be over 300 individual flower wreaths. Very moving. Paid our respects and left feeling very sad. I left a copy of your quote in a Horseshoe Point envelope marked for "The Srifuengfung Family" in a bowl on a side table. Our thoughts are with you. Very best wishes.

Neither. I clicked on the "provide services" link as in my post and then scanned the QR code there. I haven't downloaded the mobile app.
