From what i know, thai people aren't shy from confrontations.

If you're a white farang, almost every thai girl will say she's in love with you. Think they're more in love with your nationality than the actual person.

I would say as long as you don't mention the royal family especially the king..you'll be fine. The King is a no go.

I guess it's because being a farang, you appear to have a better life than them. And in their minds, if you have the money, you shouldn't be stingy with it. Paying double won't be an issue for you but for them it goes a long way. Poor attitude to have really, I hate feeling like i'm being taken for a ride or overcharged just because I'm a farang. I guess this is what you call positive discrimination?

I'm gonna have to agree there, don't make things over-complicated. Keep it simple. Although it might make your life easier with a tablet, in terms of learning experience, it might not be as good for the children. And with 'manual' cards, it's more interactive?
