I would like to install GPS Real Tracking System in my cars. Any Ideas or expiriences? Which is the best? How much? Is Thailand nationwide covered?
Depends on your needs. By Real Tracking you might mean Real Time Tracking? However if you just want (real) tracking you can simply buy a 60USD GPS tracker the size of matchbox that you post process monthly or whenever. No other costs involved.
Thats maybe the one. Where i can find it?
That sort of device would do you no good at all if the car is stolen. You have to retrieve the device to be able to download the information to your computer. You need real time tracking to accomplish what you want to do.
Hi,
I recommend Vektor GPS Tracking Solution, www.vektor.co.th. The system is 100% web based, reasonably priced and uses ISO and TUV certified hardware. You can remotely kill engines and also get automated email or sms alerts if the cars are leaving or approaching areas. Vehicles can even be tracking into neighboring countries.
Best,
Doug

We're a photography agency so we're constantly uploading large digital image files 24/7. I could see our daily upload capacity reaching 400MBs/day in the next few months.
What kind of specific information can I provide to help you with your advice?
Thanks.

Hi,
I work for a company in Bangkok that uploads approximately 200MB/day to FTPs in Singapore or other countries. We have approximately 15 employees working in our office.
I'm wondering if the performance justifies the cost of a leased line as opposed to a business package. We're looking at the True leased line 512/512 which is 23,000 baht/month vs. the 'Biz-Lite' package at 15,000 baht/month.
Which is the best ISP?
We currently have a 128kbs ISDN line from Pacific Internet and it is unacceptably slow.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Here's the catch - I only have time on weekend afternoons.
Thanks in advance.

I'm in the process of setting up a company in Thailand and I'm trying to understand the pros and cons of what I understand to be three main options:
- Form a Thai private limited company
- Foreign owned with BOI approval
- American owned under special treaty (I'm an American)
Are there benefits to having a Thai company, e.g. taxes, preferential treatment, etc?
Thanks in advance.

From experience, I would also have to say Bangkok Bank. Plus they have a branch in New York, funds transfer for US citizens is easy as pie.
I transfered a sum of money between Washington Mutual Bank in the US and that was a huge pain in the ass - long transfer time, high fees, etc. How exactly does the 'easy as pie' transfer work between BB and an American bank?
Thanks in advance.
