  1. It gets confusing because some people incorrectly refer to an extension of stay as a visa.

    If you have an non immigrant OA multiple entry visa then you will get another 1 year entry when you return to Thailand.

    I think I answered your question about the reporting to immigration every 90 days.

    Edit: You do not need to notify immigration until 90 days after you return.

    so.. when i come back to thailand ; i dont go to immigration office ; i will go there next after 90 days of my enrty date to thailand.is it. thank alot
  2. Do you have a permitted to stay date one year from date of entry? Very important to prove you have the non immigrant O-A visa entry that is often called retirement. Yes any stay of 90 days or more requires you file a TM.47 address report with immigration but if you leave before 90 days the count would start on day of return.

    You do not need or want a re-entry permit if you have a valid multi entry non immigrant O-A visa when you will return. Only if beyond expiration date of actual visa would you want that (which does not provide a new one year stay from date of entry but only the previous permitted to stay date).

    so..if i leave before 90 days the count would start on day of return. i understood..

    but do i have to go to immigration office and report them that i am back or not ?

    (my retired visa experied 25 july 2013)

    thanks

  3. I assume you are writing about doing your 90 day reports and have a one year extension of stay.

    If you leave the country before your report is due you do not have to report. When you return you do your report 90 days from the date you re-enter the country.

    I assume also that you have a multiple re-entry permit that will allow you leave the country without loosing your extension of stay.

    my retired visa expried 25 july 2013... it has time ... my questions was about every 3 months visit immigration .. how will be after abroad back to thailand.. thanks

  4. Hi ;

    we have retirement visa which issued date 27 april 2012 .. ( multiple)

    and at the end page of the our passport is a date 25 july 2012 ( after 3 months)

    which tahat we have to visit again the immigration office (if we stay in Thailand )

    we have been told that we dont have to be in immigration office if we are still in abraod a in 25 july 2012 ;

    anyway ..

    18 june 2012 we will fly to Europe visit friends BUT we dont know when?exacktly we will be back

    to Thailand ! if we return for example : 23 july 2012 to thailand from europe

    than do we have to visit immigration office before our 3 months expried ?

    or how is that ? what if we return in a later time to thailand 3 of August for example; what will be than ?

    what will be our date of next visit of immigration office ? if we have to visit there every 3 months?

    is seem a bit chaotic!! they must give a little hand book to explain about it with all details ;

    because there are very much details in non visas.

    we have multiple retirement visa ; we dont have to visit immigration office if we go abroad next

    but we have to visit immigration office every 3 months ( compulsory)

    the problem is if we often go and come inside-out ; the 3 months immigration office visit will be a bit confused.

    Thanks )

  5. Yes, with a multiple-entry non-immigrant visa category O-A you can enter Thailand an unlimited number of times during the validity period of the visa. However, you said that your friend's visa is valid only for one entry and therefore, on arrival with this visa in Thailand, she will receive permission to stay for one year. As soon as she leaves Thailand, this permission to stay will laps, will no longer be valid, but if she gets a re-entry permit before leaving Thailand this permit will allow her to enter Thailand again and on arrival she will get permission to stay until the same date she had on the arrival stamp when she first entered with the non-O-A visa.

    It is not possible to change the single-entry non-O-A visa (obtained from a Thai consulate) to a multiple entry-non-O-A visa at an immigration office in Thailand.

    The following example is based on the assumption that arrival with the visa in Thailand is on 09 JUN 2011; adjust dates as necessary to apply to the actual situation.

    Step 1: Visa (from Thai consulate), which your friend already has, ie a non-O-A visa valid for one entry into Thailand.

    Step 2: Arrive in Thailand and receive permission to stay for one year, for example if arrival is on 10 JUN 2012, permission to stay will be until 09 JUN 2013. Now the visa has been used and is no longer valid for entry into Thailand.

    Step 3: Get a re-entry-permit before leaving Thailand with the intention of entering Thailand again before 09 JUN 2013. Single-entry re-entry permit costs 1,000 Baht, multiple-entry re-entry permit (valid for unlimited number of entries) costs 3,800 Baht, valid for arrival(s) in Thailand until 09 JUN 2013.

    Step 4: On arrival(s) in Thailand with the re-entry permit, permission to stay will be until 09 JUN 2013

    Thank you very much for your answer with details ; very kind of you

    we will go to immigration office and we will ask : if we can change the single entry visa to multiple retired visa. because my friend might 3-4 time in a year will go abroad for holiday and come back thailand ( cambodia ; singapore like that and she dont want to apply for each time to immigration office for stamp to going abroad..

    she didnt go abraod yet after she got the single entry retirement visa anyway. thanks )

  6. It does not make it a multi entry visa like the O-A from home country - each re-entry will only be until the current permitted to stay date (rather than a new one year stay from entry as with an O-A visa). It will make it the same as extensions of stay for retirement from Immigration inside Thailand.

    as i know : in the multiple entry retirement visa ; you can go abroad out of Thailand and come back x-time without apply to immigration office in Thailand before you go abroad; isnt it like that?

    thats the important detail for us.. not other cases

  7. Friend of mine got retirement visa 3 weeks ago ; (she is 53 years old euope nation) but finaly we understood that her retirement visa

    is NOT multiple ! it means each time before she go to abroad ; she must go to immigration office again

    and pay 1000 baht and get stamp that she may go abroad! too much work.. well.. is it still possible to change it to multiple visa from immigration ? that she can come and go abroad without go to immigration for stamp each time or should we have done that in first apply ? will they do it ?

    Thanks

  8. The police had to talk to him all the time because they were afraid that he would commit suicide.

    I can imagine a conversation filled with "where u come from", "what your name" etc. etc. sad.png

    yes its a stupid question ; where you come fom ? if a girl ask as first question the country ( nationality )she makes sure a collection of farang men suree)) never been abroad but ask the counrty first.. morons
  9. She chat with another guy ! ? if a Thai Girl says " i like Farang " its means "Any"

    ones a Thai girl find the way dating contact with the Farangs in internet

    they never stop to find the next man always ; they try to get more and more farang man as much as they can

    just go to look any 'western Union' money sender offices in pattaya or phuket

    there you will see a line of Thai Girls became money which from different farang sended

    some girls gets every month no less than 500-700 euros each month from different farangs who she met before;

    one darling from Norway ; another darling from Australia and other farang darling from France like that ; there are enough idiots losers in western countries trust those cheaters here..

    who is idiot now ? Thai girls or The farangs? The love is died in western countries and mostly losers and ignored coming to Thailand most.

    and when they get disappointed ones again here too ;happens like that insanity in the end.
