It would be easy to gather data. Every country who has visitors to Thailand would require their citizens to report any crime directly to that countries embassy.

Right, and we all know that many visitors dont report petty crimes or even violent ones. So how are you going to gather the data?

As the above poster said, its not really that bad in Thailand. I can't remember any time where people are causing much of a disturbance. However with a little common sense it is possible to minimise these distractions. For example if you go to the cinema on a sunday afternoon you are going to have children of all ages and its going to be naturally busier. Here in Singapore I avoid the cinema on sundays as its maids day off and half the cinema consists of filipinas giggling to each other. Its also true that the cinema etiquite in Singapore is a lot worse. Last week some idiots decided to surprise someone by bringing in a birthday cake with lit candles on it and start singing happy birthday 10 minutes into the beginning of the excorcism of emily rose. What was more surprising was they couldnt understand why half the cinema told them to shut the ###### up. They then proceeded to giggle through the entire film. I have watched films that start at 1am and there has been 2 year olds present shrieking through the entire fim. A nation of cinematic idiots.

Sierra, I think it is safe to say they would not approve. Why have you avoided the fact that many women are coerced into pornography for economic means and can only cite the relatively small portion of the market that involves married couples as your defence on the subject. Are you willing to state on record that certain markets in pornography are not degrading to women? Or that many women the world over find pornography degrading to their sex?

I dont need to rationalise my hobby by attacking other things. I was clearly showing the differences between the two very different activities.

The degredation of women comes from the fact that many are forced into pornography for economic means. There is no financial impact in dogging. It is a clean sport that doenst have the degredation, exploitation and abuse of women that the pornography industry has. If you think that adult movies are made with full consent of the actors involved you are even more naive than i originally thougght. And I thought you were pretty naive to begin with.

Women are attracted to dogging because they like the thrill of being watched by people who are actually there at the scene. If someone taped the event and played it to people at a later date or posted on the internet then this would not constitute dogging or the thrill of dogging (infact it would break the dogging code) and would be exploitation of the woman involved.

I would have thought it was painfully obvious that gay porn does not include women. The majority of porn is not gay and therefore includes women engaged in degrading acts. I am speaking for the majority of pornographic content and not specialized male homosexual material that you appear to show an interest in.

I have been an active member of the dogging community (I prefer the term voyeurism) in the UK for a few years now. It is an activity that is widely accepted and is much different than pornography. Pornography is obscene because it degrades women. Dogging is quite different where people take part for their own free will. There is no financial obligation or exploitation on any side unlike pornography. This is why pornography is obscene and dogging isn't. Children, monks and the mentially unwell dont have access to dogging communities the same way that they have access to pornography and other web based temptations and this is why the government is cracking down.
