  1. Schools can not even get kids to cut their own hair or to wear their uniform properly in school. They can not get kids to learn very much without copying their work and cheating on tests. How in the world does this group think that forcing a helmet on kids uniforms I'd go in to make the kid actually wear it outside of school? Helmets only cost 100- 200 baht. Cheap enough for parents to buy. This is not the issue. The issue is that enforcement is almost non existent on the street save for a couple of checkpoints with which a helmet is thrown on just prior to it and taken off immediately after it.

This group should be focusing on finding a way to get kids to be responsible and to actually learn to drive with proper habits. Perhaps a drivers education course would be better along with police who are on the street actually enforcing the law everywhere instead of just at checkpoints

And you used to cut your own hair?

  2. I work for an international company here and thailand was used for the cheap labour and comparitive skilled labour here compared to other places in asian/india... Its now getting to the point where other markets are a lot more cheaper to get the same job done.

Not sure how much longer we will keep our opperation here. There is already talk of moving to India... Now with the strong baht its hard to argue..

Longing for the day you cheapskate, exploiters have nowhere left to run.

  3. There are other places to manufacture other than Thailand. Those places are much more business friendly and don't have a 300 baht per day minimum wage. The Philippines is aggressively seeking manufacturers and even offering incentives. The Philippines has a much higher birth rate (Catholic) and many more people in the age group to work in factories.

    Thainess.

Do you really think 300THB a dayis too much? Youcan't expect the rest of the world to keep Yanks in fat <deleted>

  4. An advice to the Thais commenting on Facebook.

You should be more concerned and examine your culture and habits before being so upset about 2 naked people.

Look into the domestic violence, rape of minors, abandonment of children and families and other wrongdoings, happening daily in your country and then start worrying about this.

    Hypocrisy, comes to my mind.

Again the Greeks lecturing the world on how to run a country.

Stones and green houses come to mind.

    So what's your point?

If you're posting from the UK, a failing country that country that cannot control it's borders and is ruled from Europe or USA a country with a murder rate that puts most third world countries to shame. You need to keep your concerns closer to home

Mmmm, I thought this was about Bangkok, Thailand... is there a "Bangkok" in England?
Try paying attention to the media you're watching and you may realise Cardiff is not in England. Of course if you watch fox news I fully understand

CARDIFF1963-----------GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT BEFORE YOU START BLABBERING. THE USA IS NOT EVEN IN THE TOP 60 IN MURDERS PER 100,000 PEOPLE. Malaysia and Thailand have way more than America.

No need for you yanks to shout. The USA murder rate is smack in the middle other third world countries. No civilised country is anywhere near it.
