If you were to add the months left on the old passport to the new one it would be a bit less even.
That would be nice if i did drink ...

even at these price's i can fly silk air but anyway seems these better to fly down to Bangkok and where ever after there plus you get miles with some airlines ..

Well it seems like another budget airline want's to start charging premium price for Asian regional flight's... As you all may know Tigerair starts there CNX - SiN next week and don't get me wrong 4,800THB seems a fair price for a 3 hour flight to Singapore for next month but when looking for a flight in Dec and getting quoted nearly 18,000THB for a return ticket is a bit outrageous to say the least and that's only spending two days in Singapore ...
Even flying with Air Asia to Kuala Lumpur that's getting close to 15,000THB for a few days away break as i have just notice when looking at my options at flights.. ? Even not so long ago i flown MAN - CAL - BKK - CNX and that cost us 20,000THB for a one way ticket with Egyptair & Bangkok Airways ..
I just thought i would give everybody head up on my findings so far ...

I renewed my uk passport 10days ago. the old one had expiry of 2020 but it was full.
The new one expires july 2024....so 10yr and 10month.
Really expiry longitude is of no consequence over here its the number of pages that's important, so I got the bumper edition this time.
Sent via tin can and string after pigeon shot
That was a good turn around 10 days if i don't mind saying so myself .. ? i have to do a renew passport in around 4 months time .. when it hits the six month mark and was kind of shitting myself but when i need to apply is around March .. was that sent to the embassy in CM or did you send it direct to HKG ...
haha, the trick was that I was in england and I went to the passport office in liverpool, it was actually a 4hr turnaround.
Sent via tin can and string after pigeon shot
Oh understand and thanks for the reply.. ? I also got mine done via Liverpool but taken around 3 weeks to do when i was there and did it via the post office ,, Just looking via the embassy website at a renew bloody not cheap to say the least but when you look at flights these days back to the UK at 45,000THB a pop for a return ticket and that's with advance booking seems still the easiest route by far ...

Rain
in Chiang Mai
Just looking via Windows 8 Weather app .. Looks like it could be raining cats and dogs till the end of the month .. 70% rain each day so far ..
Better to read TMD forecast with some more rain for today and then none but temps down to 18 degrees for the near future.
I guess there will be other forecasts that fit individual requirements.
Depressing where ever you look ?

Take a look upstairs of makro they have some decent chairs on the 1st floor prices are also responsable ?

if it was the government who came out and said this ? i would have thought hmm seems like all car manufacturers are trying to flood the market in Thailand with new cars as they lost a lot revenue in recent month's but as it's the police i can see this problem being solved very quickly with a bribe of 200thb or what the govermeant needs to do is bring some sort of annual test of automobile safety aka MOT test ...

When people who are just a little bit rich travel, they fly first class. When you're really rich, you rent a private jet. When you're insanely rich, you fly on your very own private jet with your name painted on the wings. When you are a multi-billionaire Saudi Prince, you fly on a mind blowingly lavish $500 million customized Airbus A380. Recently it was revealed that Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, who has a net worth of $18 billion, purchased a $300 million Airbus A380 and is spending an additional $200 million remodeling the plane into a flying palace that makes Airforce One look like a hunk of junk….
Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal is one of the wealthiest people in the Arab world. Thanks to thousands of extremely shrewd investments, the Prince was able to turn a modest fortune into more than $18 billion. Through his investment firm Kingdom Holding, Prince Alwaleed has bought up large stakes in companies like News Corp, Apple, Citigroup, Twitter and more. He owns luxury hotels like The Savoy in London, the Fairmont in San Francisco, the Plaza in New York and the Four Seasons. He owns several yachts, more than 200 cars and three incredible palaces that cover a combined 5 million square feet. When Prince Alwaleed takes delivery of his $500 million Airbus, it will be one of four massive private jets. It will also be the largest and most expensive private plane in the world.
The base Airbus A380 costs $300 million and normally fits around 800 passengers. Prince Alwaleed's Airbus A380 is being completely stripped and remodeled with the following mind blowing luxuries:
- - One parking space for his Rolls Royce
- - Concert hall with grand piano, seating for 10 and stage for private entertainment
- - Marble tiled steam room with spa treatments
- - A "wellbeing" room complete with flat screen TVs on the walls and floors that shows passengers what they are flying over
- - Five master bedroom with king sized beds, private bathrooms and showers
- - 20 smaller private rooms
- - Private elevator that connects the master bedroom to the tarmac for quick entrances and exits
- - Boardroom with holographic monitors
- - A prayer room with computer monitored prayer mats that automatically adjust to face Mecca

This is going to be fun for the next 45 days when you live next to the airport ...
