Brief: late 20-something, volunteerism and alternate income enthusiast, my roots are Sri Lankan, born and bred in Bahrain, educated in UK and Canada, globe trotted to other parts of South and Far-East Asia, the Middle East and Europe and lately been dawdling over renewable energy markets and fish cultivation tech advancements in Thailand. Not exactly a Nomad, but I'd like to settle down over the next three years close to Cambodia.

Many folks on here have asked me about my choice of username here and to cut a long story short, back in 2004 December and immediate post-tsunami recovery days in 2005, the ThaiVisa.com forum management (George et al) had been posting critical updates to the crisis from the ground via SMS reporting and I'd initially used this forum to data mine and seed verified information into situational reports for the UN DP clusters. Hence the username, however, never thought I'd find myself closely attached to Thailand someday as I am today
