    MPs taking money from unions is Labour’s sleaze. Declare it on the register, it is still sleaze. They are in the unions’ pocket. Supporting the union strikes and joining their picket lines is sleaze. Did they actually get disciplined? Sleaze.

    Read something else other than your rag and you will see how many Lab MPs have been taking thousands from the unions. The party really needs it now, with a £4.8M deficit after loosing 100,000 members since last year. Even their own membership are leaving Starmer.

    Do you understand that prices go up and prices can come down, especially when they are being compared at the top of comparatively large spikes. Is the the Armageddon that George Osborne predicted and prices will soar forever as you would like us to believe?

    Will CNN still be printing this guff when the prices go back down? Energy costs will be curtailed when Liz is in charge. Fuel is already being reduced, albeit slowly.

    ASLEF are. Are all the strikers from only one union? Affiliated or not, they’ve still been in the take. Individual MPs have been too. Labour is mired in their own corrupt sleaze with the unions.

    The greens are the biggest contributing factor to the current energy crisis. We would have had energy sufficiency if previous governments had not pandered to their anti-fossil fuel nonsense. The next govt must abandon the carbon neutral waste of money too. They would have us back in the century before last as far as energy is concerned. Is their proposal for everyone to knit nice warm horse hair shirts as penance for using fossil fuels?

    He could threaten to stop taking their cash and block votes at congress if they strike.

    Millions more having to choose between Christmas holidays in The Alps or having to rough it with the pensioners in Tenerife, already struggling with the private school fees. Those north London labour supporters won’t tolerate it either, because they believe Starmer would sort it all for them.

    Back off his holidays then? Why was there no outcry about him being away at a time of crisis? The real point here is “…if in power…”. He isn’t and never will be, so whatever he says is of no consequence. As he’s labour it will be a pack of lies anyway.
