  1. No it’s not. It’s all in the English Channel, or queued up on the roads to Dover.
  2. No, it’s the French not working at all, or working too slowly. No overtime at all there.
  3. How do the Spanish and Portuguese manage the same checks without causing massive queues? So the queues at Dover were caused by French incompetence in not matching their processing capacity to the forecasted flow of entries? Sure there’s not also a tiny touch of French buggeration factor in there too? They are not exactly well known for their bonhomie.
  4. No complaints about the Spanish, only the French. Is it simply French incompetence or is it intransigence and spite? I reckon the latter.
  5. That is the point. Spain and Portugal have arranged their desks to accommodate the checks. Hence their times take no longer. France hasn’t. Inefficient organisation of the officers, a system not working, and still checking covid vaccination papers, then trying to divert the blame on Brexit when it’s their own sheer bloody mindedness.
  6. Whatever is going to happen next? Spain and Prortugal making their own rules at borders; Hungary and Poland keeping their own rules and blocking EU budget, France and Germany breaking fiscal rules. Brussels can’t rule its roost properly. The whole thing is falling to pieces. It won’t take long.
  7. What, not even in this thread? Long traffic delays at Dover ferry port are fault of Brexit, claim French
  8. I remember the Remainer abuse very well, in fact there’s one of them still at it today. (I’ll add that to my medals from the weekend.) The other one has a recollection problem similar to Boris’s.
  9. Don’t they all? Listening to the Rejoiner howls on here makes me think I should put a few bob in his fund too.
  10. Only in the land of labour make believe will the Tories be pushed to the sidelines. The voters are not stupid enough to go for Labour again.
  11. You do understand that it’s not his money don’t you? Given your comment, maybe not.
  12. Another deal to renegotiate. Or we send them to a tent on the outer Hebrides. Safe enough there and keeps us safe from them too.
  13. Benefits come even more free. The lazy scroungers won’t work.
  14. When we kick the NIP sea border into touch the Irish can decide what they want to do. Either honour the GFA or allow the EU to build a fence over their beloved land. Guess that’s a hard border coming then.
  15. It sounds like they didn't and are now suffering withdrawal symptoms. It's cold turkey time from the EU teat.
  16. Plenty of them, unless you are very restrictive in your reading. Go have a look elsewhere than the Garuniad.
  17. So the EU sent bucket loads of cash to Wales for the senedd to spend?
  18. Look here, I'm pointing towards the previous posts in this thread. ???? You could also see other current threads where the same subject is discussed.
  19. Yep, they would probably by typical of our own (EU for you) cash being squandered on vastly inflated vanity projects. Oooeer, a written statement by the Welsh asking for more money? Try a pinch of salt with every word in there.
  20. I think we've notice that, also in their getting rid of illegal migrants.
  21. You wanted to know how the French problems of not turning into work, still applying covid pass checks and system glitches have impacts on our side of the border.
  22. Why, did I miss the EU funding Welsh steelworks or reopening mines? EU rules prevented us supporting many parts of Welsh industry. EU funds for a few cycleways don't cut the mustard.
