I've just moved back to my home country after many years of living in Thailand and I couldn't be happier.
Honestly, I felt as though the hostility towards foreigners was getting worse with each passing day. More and more violence, petty theft, landlords trying to blindside with higher rates, etc. It was frustrating to feel like a walking ATM and a second class citizen. That's no way to live, in my opinion.

Legitimate question - can you actually officially retract a statement/admission in Thailand or can it still be held against you in the court (despite the circumstances that led you to confess)?
Edit: I only ask because if a suspect claims so-and-so officers forced them to confess via whatever extreme measures, you could face a civil suit for defamation since the definition of "proof" here is quite limited.

After work spots like Witches, La Monita, Whisgars (they're even hosting a gathering of an all women group on Wednesday night I'll be attending - all professional, self-sufficient women), Zuma, etc. or brunches at Karma Kamet, Cafe Tartine, anywhere in Thong Lor, or K-Village during the BKK Farmer's Market.
I think for the most part, most of us get our groceries delivered except for the few random items we pick up at Villa every now and again.

Blumenthal Richter & Sumet. You should google them.
They are hands down the best legal team in Thailand, imho. Be warned, they are not cheap but that's the problem here, isn't it? We often want to pay peanuts but are surprised when we get monkeys. When it comes to legal representation, better to invest to ensure you get the best possible outcome.

Antonio's on Soi 31, just off the Sukhumvhit, is pretty perfect for date night. The food is incredible, the restaurant itself (its a converted home) is pristine/modern yet cozy, and the owner/chef is an excellent host who will gladly guide you through the menu if need be. Its good and its nice, but it isn't pretentious in the slightest - its just very good, comforting, authentic Italian fare.
I recommend reservations, though: +66 (0)2 662-1001

An Oompah is needed for an upcoming Oktoberfest event within the country - this gig could turn into frequent appearances. If you and your group, or someone you know, are qualified to handle a large Munich-centric Oktoberfest event, please send over contact information and any relevant clips of your abilities.
It should be noted that, yes, travel and accommodation will be provided.

I'd go see the dermatologist. You can go to the doctor on the ring road near Tesco.
Unfortunately, you're going to have to urge them to do the tests, though because it will be "no, that look fine, no worries"... They really do everything in their power not to have to do such a thing. If you have the opportunity, I'd recommend going to Bangkok and having it handled there.

You'll get sufficient haircuts at Hair Decor in Big C or Hair by Anon in Tesco Chaweng. You have to tell them exactly what you want, of course, but they do a good job.
And I'm not lying about telling them exactly, don't ever say "do what you think is best!" unless you want the early 90s Jennifer Anniston.

This isn't true. Shame you heard otherwise.
Also, quite the shame you opt to place blame on the victims and their behavior rather than that of what is obviously a deranged killer who took life for no reason. A life is a life, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, etc.
