As someone said before I would have a look in Khanom.
I've been there last year and the year before and liked it.

What's the point of linking three airports to each other? Wouldn't it make more sense to connect to hubs like Bang Sue?
I often land in Suvarnabhumi e take off at Don Muang or viceversa.
With a taxi sometimes it get late (traffic jam) if there were a fast railway link I think I will use it

if you had to stay in Rayong do you know a hotel?
Last year we stayed in Golden City Rayong Hotel.
Maybe business-man oriented but good

I go to NST since 2003 every year for 2 weeks.
The first years I have never seen a farang downtown, in the lasts some more.
-
We went two times at Baan Civilize Resort (last time 2017).
We liked it very much.

I wasn't "apologizing", it was just an information.
I will less problems to get a visa, that's good.
Looks like is very hard to find a good job here in Swizterland and in Thailand doesn't look better.

I know there are lot of private schools and the demand for italian is poor.
Just thinking what could I do in Thailand. I am swiss, my mothertongue is italian and I speak English, German and French too. But all that seems unuseful. My wife is thai.
-
So maybe is better to set up a school by myself (italian and english) in a touristic place (Phuket, Koh Samui, Pattaya, etc) but it's more risky.
-
Someone knows if there is request for italian teachers in thai schools (everywhere) ?
Thanks

Years ago I went to a dentist on the side of Robinson Commercial Center (few steps, don't remeber wich "side" of Robinson)
She spoke little english and was very kind.

Very interesting your plans.
I am swiss and have thai wife (11 years) and we have 2 daughters (almost 6 and 3 years old).
Sometimes we think about going to live in Thailand, my wife is from Nakhon Si Thammarat (not far from Khanom).
But we are worried about finding a job or an income to live there and about the school for our daughters.
I am an economist / accountant and my wife is shop assistant. Not easy to find a job.
My mother language is italian, but I speak quite well english, french and german.
So please post your experience it may help other users, like me.
Thank you
Bye for now

I usually stay 20 km south of NST, but at the moment ... only 3 weeks per year (just wainting to retire, but it takes loooong time).
I love playing tennis.

Just got back from NST.
Unfortunately this year we had no time to look for word or business.
We had so many work to do at home (renovation, new wall, etc).
Always busy. I was "sad" not to look for a job or business, but have to accept it.
An aunt of my wife said she has a shop in Koh Samui and it work great.
We'll see next year.
In the meantime I hope to find a job here, that would be great too.
I just hate my actual job.

A couple of years ago we went for a drink and a diner at The Roof @ 38th bar in Silom. It was very nice. It is on the top of Mode Hotel if I remember.
