Thai Vegetarian Food..., is like the rest of there cooked foods.
Too much Salt and Sugar and Soy Sauce...., and Greasy ...
which is all best to be avoided....
Finding Healthy Food, in Thailand is not easy......
-
Biggest gripe for me with Thailand, is the Dangers of the road....
Health Care is also an issue...it's not cheap if anything happens.....
but as for the rest, yes, can handle it, even the stifling weather.....

Say what you like about Starbucks..... I like it......and I get my low fat milk into the bargain.....

His age says it all, he should not be driving, 80 years old, is way over to drive safely...
Poor Women killed because of his selfishness and ignorance.....
Shocking.....

You could financially support them both here in Thailand....

Just been to Starbucks in "Future Park" in Rangsit, Bangkok..
struggled to,get a seat....it was full to the Gunnels....
i like it, it suits me....but I am no Coffee expert....
-
I can't stand Coffee, but as mentioned can hack it in "Starbucks"...
Arabic Coffee , the smell is lovely but the taste is vile.....
I am a Big Fan of "Starbucks" and always hunt one down wherever I am...
Feee Wi Fi , Clean comfortable surroundings , Washrooms, Magazines, choice of zero Percent Milk, no Carnation Milk....., and of course "Skinny Banana Muffin"...
All,sounds good to me....
-
Say what you like about "Starbucks" , but at least you get Zero percent fat Milk, and a Skinny Muffin...
and no signs of Carnation Milk....
suits me....., as Thailand is the land of Sugar, Syrup,........, so it's hard to find the above....

Speaking of Nicole Kidman...
saw that new film "Lion" last night, and Nicole was in it..
an excellent Film, and it's a True Story.......
well worth viewing.....

yes I wouldn't come to Thailand to be homeless thinking its gonna be a lovely time, it will be horrible, unsafe, there may be some good days but its a bad idea, but death in Thailand is more appealing than in a place like the UK, how you die is up to the individual, some jump, some use knifes, some hang themselves ..
to be honest I will try and beat this problem of mine in 2017, supplements, eat a super healthy diet, see medical doctors etc.. but if I can't then I might just pack my bag and walk, just walk and see where life takes me, I'd rather die doing what I love (travel) in a beautiful warm place than do the usual balcony jump in a sleazy place like Pattaya
If if you love to Travel....get a job as a Flight Attendant...
Virgin and JAL in London. Are always recruiting Cabin Crew m wages are terrible, but you will travel......, worth a try....

no, I am 25, currently in the UK, have a job here, but this health issue thing is effecting me mentally, been living with it since end of June and I'm fed up with life because of it, so I'm just having crazy thoughts at the moment.
25 and fed up with life....., this will pass, life is what you make of it, you mentioned you are working, so at least you have a bit of money, save up for a nice holiday, or save up for something you like to do...
Thailand is not for the homeless, you won't get any sympathy or handouts here, Yes it's warmer , but it's like everywhere else , it costs money to live, and getting a job here is out of the question...
i suffered real bad depression many years ago, and leaned that the only help that really helped was Myself......
Life is beautiful, but has its ups and downs, ride out the storm, it will pass for sure...
25 your life is just starting so much things to do and see,
all the best, hope things work out...

I always carry a plastic bag, the one I have at the moment is more than 6 months old and still usable. I have a backpack and 2 big white bags that I think are circa 2007 which can carry 3 500gms of kellogs cornflakes. Thais just love plasic bags. I have a constant fight to stop my girlfriend getting more of the buggers ..
Kellogs Cornflakes ......have not had them for years, loved them with hot milk in a cold day....
