The cat is on a second storey roof, I can simply through food up there because it's too high. She is not up there by choice, she must have jumped from a nearby tree probably while chasing an animal. If she could have got down on here own she would have by now.

Anyway one of my friends has connections with the military so they will come and rescue the cat today.

Maybe ask one of your neighbor motorbike taxis for help if you can pay them a small amount of money.

This place is a bit out of the way. There's no motorbike taxis around here, I went looking for help yesterday but there was no one around and everywhere was closed.

It's a long story but I'm looking after my friend's cat and somehow she's ended up getting stuck on the second floor roof. I can't get up there and she can't get down. She's been up there for over 2 days now. I tried the police, they said they'd send someone last night. No one came. Tried again today, they said they send someone today, again no one came. I don't she's going to be able to survive for much longer.

I realise it's Songkran and police are very busy so this is obviously a low priority for them.

If anyone can help please send me a PM.

I arrived on the June 24th on a Single Entry Visa, so that means it's good for 2 months and then I can extend for 30 days at an Immigration Office, yes?

However I was looking at my passport and the Visa was stamped as May 24th even though I arrived June 24th. Could this be a problem?

Budget carriers don't give refunds, it all depends on the policy of the airline AND ticket conditions. (The cheaper the ticket, the more restrictins are on it. Like not being allowed to change dates, refunds etc).

If you really need a tourist visa, buy a ticket to a neighbouring country to apply for a proper tourist visa there.

Problem solved. I went to the Thai Embassy in Seoul and they said I can pick up visa tomorrow. I'd read that it would take 2-3 days but it there weren't too many people there.

Because you only have a One Way Flight the airline might not let you board the plane when you don't have a Valid Visa.

You could buy another cheap Ticket (shows that you are leaving Thailand within the 30 Days after Arrival) and after arriving you just cancel that Ticket.

Yeah, I had a feeling the one way ticket would be a problem. At the moment it looks like I will have to change or cancel my flight and book a new one.

I'm a UK citizen currently in Korea. I was on my way to the Thai Embassy in Seoul today but there is a taxi driver strike. I don't live in Seoul so I need a taxi to get me to the subway station that would take me to Seoul.

I am supposed to be flying to BKK on Monday and now I won't be able to get my visa in time. So my question is can i get a visa on arrival and then go to Laos to get a visa there? My e ticket is only one way, could this be a problem?

My only other option is to cancel my flight and buy another ticket.
