  1. Yes just Farang not wearing masks is it ?

Open your eyes there’s plenty of maskless Thais too.

There is no concrete evidence that masks work (unless they are fitted correctly) which from my observation 95% are not.

I am wearing mine on the very rare occasion we venture out for supplies and sticking to the government information because as a guest of this country it is the respectful thing to do.

I got the same message but when I tried it the day after it worked ok and it was approved the same day also.

  3. Bullshit I've lent my wife's family money on several occasions and received every penny back. Not all Thais are the same and a lot of people on here have had bad experiences hence the negativity. I guess if your asking the question your not at all sure about them so in that case I say don't give them it. As a previous poster said get em some buckets till the harvest comes in.

  4. Hi myself and my Thai wife are living in Bangkok at her parents house whilst our house in Pattaya is ready. I got a yellow Tabien Bahn and a pink ID card even before I applied for my first yearly extension. We just went to the Laksi local council office and they told us which documents we needed copies of and I had to go to the British Embassy to have my passport verified. They will want your marriage certificate translating to Thai if you were married out of Thailand also which we had already done in the UK before we came.

Something else slightly off topic is you can also get a document from them to apply for a Thai driving licence which saves having to go to immigration for a residency document (think that's what it was called). The lady in there was great she told us to apply for a Thai driving licence as an international licence holder after 90 days the insurance is void and you are not covered which we didn't know.

Always the same posts about someones misfortune:

1--Try to be first with a joke.
2--when not first, just repeat it as ones own.
    3--The doubter/conspiricist "something strange here".
    4--the Thai cynic/complainer--Why the hospital?
5--lastly, the guys who still have humanity and understanding--RIP to a fellow farang who had a tough go of it.

    RIP Roberto. Peace.

Thats how people deal with death "tell a stiffy joke"," slag off the authorities " etc etc thats the same anywhere not just in Thailand
