Ps: keep your wallet at home.

Don't know your location.
Go to South Pattaya Soi 17, follow down to Soi Bonkai 2,just after the rose house hotel there are a row of 6 shops. The 3rd shop a long is a Laundry shop, with glass doors, the lady is called Lat.
She is excellent at what she does, and you will not be disappointed.

Order from Pizza Hut.
For just over 500 baht.
You will get 2 pizzas chicken wings and a ceases salad, more than enough for 4 people.
You can use the online website, sometimes they have really good deals

If you have a UK driving licence I know you can go get a Thai licence quite easily.
I have a provisional driving licence, do you think I would be able to use this and not have to take the written test.
Thanks

I am returning to the UK next week.
I do not have an English licence other than a Provisional Driving Licence.
Is it possible to use this licence and receive a thai licence.
Or will I have to go through the full test procedures.
Thanks

My son was born in Banglamung hospital.
Cost nothing.
No problems at all.
Wife had a c cut.
Private room was 1200baht a night. Nurse came in for regular checks every 2 hours, helped with everything, we also received free goodies when we left.
Did you know that the majority of doctors and surgeons in Bangkok pattaya come from the Government hospitals!
The lady surgeon who gave my wife a c cut, also does the same procedures at Bangkok pattaya on request!

Tell her to get her hair done in the UK then. Tell her don't suggest it
Have suggested.

We're returning to the UK in 2 weeks, not so bothered about the friend.
If her hair has turned green then fly EVA Air to coordinate with the livery.
Thanks for the advice

Making sure it's done properly is the key.

My wife is insistent that she wants to change the colour if her hair. I don't mind about this, it's my wife's choice.
But...
The salon my wife is choosing is her friends shop, of whom put colour on my wife's friend hair and messed it up completely.
I'm am trying extremely hard to persuade my wife to go to someone who actually knows what there doing, I don't car if it costs 3/4/5000 baht.
Fact is what is wrong with them.
Been with my wife 6 years, and seems to just get worse.
Anyway any ideas?

Try and explain as well as I can.
My wife wants to change the colour of her hair, I really don't mind this.
But...
The hairdresser who is doing the colour messed up my wife's friends hair, and the colour was wrong which meant it has to be reversed.
I am continuously telling my wife not to do it with her friend the hairdresser.
Leads to my question. Money no option, where is the best place to go in pattaya.
Thanks

Lets put it this way.
I return to the UK in 3 weeks.
Our son starts schools which will cost £160 a month.
I give my wife a minimum £100 a month for needs.
My wife's thai shopping alone costs £100 a month.
My families general shopping, cereals drinks etc etc is average £200 a month
That's already £560 for my family which is £6700 per year.
That's excluding any bills. Which I don't have now. This also excludes any clothes, shoes, family trips etc.
I exceed the financial requirement.
But I am also able to save £500+ a month.
So you drop the financial requirement to £13,000 means your net will be around £10,500, which is very low income.
If I earnt this wage I wouldn't have a penny left, I don't have to pay for a house, I don't have utility bills, only to support my family.
An average Weekly grocery shop in England is £77 based on a couple. An average weekly shop based on a family of four is £155.

That sum is a joke. From my experience of Thai spouses married to UK partners they remit a minimum of around £5k a year to take care of family and offspring.
Absolutely spot on Basil.I just can not see reason of setting a fixed level as ones financial needs will differ depending on where they live and it does not factor in if one is paying rent, paying of a mortgage, or owns their own house out right which probably would make a very big difference to ones financial needs.
That's one reason why I have campaigned for a fairer system.
Whether you can support another person(s) should be based on your income and outgoings and use the surplus amount of income to create an income threshold.
How much does it actually cost to keep another person.............probably no more than £2,000 pa.
Plug that number in to 7by7's idea of around £13k being reasonable and you get back to £18k.
As for keeping a wife on £2k a year what planet are you on?
Really! Work it out.
When my ex Chinese wife came to the UK, my utility bills increased by £10 a month, I lost my 25% rates discount, cost £25 a month, she spent £300 -£400 on clothes pa and she actually reduced my food bill in kind. I spent £40 a week on food, she pent £45 on two of us and cut out the junk food. Their very frugal with money.
We sent £200 to her father every three months.
That's about £1,800
You are cheap.

How much for...

Four letter word.
I have designed the logo in theory it needs modernising colour etc.
And has to be made so it can be placed on a website.

The man the OP is talking about.
Is nicknamed Tiger. He has been here nearly 7 years. In the past he taught Thais and westerners golf, and g-d knows what happened after, I assume his Tillak sent him potty.
-
I am looking for someone who can draw my logo and turn it into a file so it can be placed on my website.
Have no problems wether it is a thai or a westerner who does it.
Thanks

As long as a bank or Post Office is open.As mentioned before buy travellers cheques. They are insured, no risk if lost and easily exchangeable.
Well unless he sleeps all day and is up all night. Then he will have a problem.
