Only Indonesian citizens are eligible to apply for METV at the embassy in Jakarta.
So, you will get the visa by applying in your country only.

You could try sending him a PM. Or check their twitter page @RTCatDPS where their email address is shown.
Thank you for remembering me.
To reply, the link to the Thai Embassy in Jakarta says very clear about the required documents.
I'll try to visit the forum more often.
Let me know if anyone needs any advice.
My advice, follow the required documents, your complications make no good since the rules are more strict than before.

Not only will the airline ticket have an amount paid clearly shown. You would have some other receipt. For example paypal sends receipt straight away. Credit card is recorded on your online banking.. Anyway bottom line is you need print out of paid airline tickets. Cell email on screen won't cut it. The reason that a lot of visas are next day is that you in the main might be dealing with a clerk who simply checks docs (in your interest) and the application moves up the food chain.
As for plane tickets ..I could for example book several using say air asia counter payment system, which gives me 24 hours to pay at 7/11 and simply never pay.
Book your plane tickets , pay in full, and print out itinerary.
Job done simple
Thank you, jacksam.
The fact is whenever you pay something online or offline properly, you will always receive the receipt back.
The applicants who have problems presenting the receipt, I always suspect a scam.

Thank you Vongbali for this additional information. To reply this :
I need to see when exactly when you will leave the country by AIR. So the confirmed flight ticket is the must.
If you have personal reasons or anything, I suggest you to apply the visa at the Embassies since I have a limited authorize.
I issue visas only to applicants who has meets the requirement.
Again :
1 Photo (Passport size)
1 Copy of passport (Data page)
1 Confirmed fight ticket LEAVING Thailand (in English version)
1 Hotel Booking, Rental Contract or Sponsor Letter from your friend (with your friend's ID and a copy of house registration or rental contract that has your friend's name on it)
1 Bank Statement with minimum of $700 (per visa)
and the fee is Rp 560.000 per entry (Maximum 3 entries)
If you have all of this, it will take you 5 minutes to fill up the application and wait another 3 working days to collect it (Mon morning - Wed afternoon)
If you miss one of the required document, please contact the Embassies since I cannot help you.
I'm not the one who sets up the rules, I'm here to make sure you have the right information.
Some embassies, some consulates, they can compromise if you miss some documents.
But with these document set, you can apply a Thai Tourist visa anywhere without any problem.
One more thing, African countries and a highly-restricted countries can only apply at the embassies and consulate generals.
Ps. Ubonjoe, you wouldn't believe how far people can go to get a Tourist visa. Doctoring the ticket, Mailing a passport from another country, fake booking, one booking number for the whole group, fake a sponsor letter, submit a booking in languages I don't understand telling me it's confirmed and etc...
I will be applying for a tourist visa soon and have a couple follow-up questions:
Regarding the flight tickets, can you please confirm my understanding that only a one-way air ticket leaving Thailand as you mention (and not a round trip ticket) for each entry is acceptable?
In respect to the rental contract, I have an open-ended monthly rental contract beginning 1 September 2015 (which continues on a monthly basis until written notice of termination is provided). Please confirm this would be acceptable?
Many thanks for your kind assistance.
One-way leaving should do it since I don't mind how you will enter Thailand.
As long as the contract has your name on it, it would be ok.

Hello, specially vongbali...
I will be in Denpasar soon to apply for a triple entry visa. I understand what i need to show. But about the bank statement, can i print an online one ? So with a triple entry it should be 2100 $ on the account right ?
One more question. If I apply on a friday morning, when can i expect to get my passeport back ?
Thank you very much for your help !
Only $700 would be enough.

Thanks for the clarifications.
I have a bit of idea of what people would do to get a visa. I have seen s few posts by members (some removed) suggesting ways to create a ticket.
Thank you, Khun Ubonjoe for understanding.

Will you accept something other than a hotel booking?
Would an apartment rental be accepted for example. Some people even have there own homes and condos.
I would accept that as long as your name is on it.

The hotel booking can be at least for a week or depends on how long you stay in Thailand for each entry.
I don't expect you to have the full 60 or 90-day hotel booking but at least you need to prove you staying.
Also the bank statement, it can be from Thai banks or the banks in your country.
I want to highlight again that for the return tickets, the applicant needs to purchased it and show the prove of payment.
I have banned many of fake-bookings applicants now.
Let me know if you have any question.

We don't accept the paper from travel agencies.
The applicant must come to the consulate by himself.
Sorry for not able to reply to anyone's email.
-
We are not authorized to issue any visa for any Chinese passport holder.
-
We can issue Non-O for only family members and foundation volunteers.

Not sure about Bali there was a recent post saying they are no longer doing 3 entry visas. You could get a 2 entry in Laos that will give a total stay of about 6 months and then get another one after that.
We still issue that.
But most applicants cannot submit 3 confirmed return tickets.
One more thing, we now require the receipt of the submitting flight ticket too.

Within 60 days or 90 days is acceptable.
Sorry if I didn't make it clear.

Now we have many problems with USD bank note in Indonesia.
So the embassy wants to collect all fee in Indonesian Rupiah to solve those problems.
Also for the last 6 months I have experienced many ticket fraud and visa scammers, have to be more strict and careful granting visas.
For those who is well prepared, I don't see any problem for you to have a triple-entry tourist visa which can give you almost 9-month stay if you plan yourself wisely.

Would that be 60 days or 90 days between each entry since it is possible to get a 30 day extension of each entry?
Both are acceptable.

Confirmed it can go almost nine months.
A visa applicant told me when he applied for his second triple-entry visa.
But this year we are more strict, we require a ticket for each entry.

Just want to confirm that we do issue a triple-entry tourist visa.
But you need to show a flight ticket for each entry.

Jakarta won't need you to show your bank statement for tourist visa.
They only need to see one if you're suspicious.

As long as you have the document we require, you shouldn't have any problem.

There is a space for your arrival date. Jakarta's visa application form here: http://www.thaiembassy.org/jakarta/contents/files/services-20130329-171606-105854.pdf
They should accept a ticket out for any date within 60 days.
The consulate in Bali does a 3 entry visa with a 6 month validity and only require one ticket out on any date within 6 months.
Now we require one ticket for each entry.

Let me ask what kind of visa you are talking about?

Thank you, Kn.Lopburi3.
The consulate will be on the street in the back of the Japanese consulate.
Also please be note that we will close in the last week of 2012 and open again on January 7, 2013.

I havent read the thread completely but I picked up a tourist Visa in Denpasar earlier this year. They are pretty strict, you need inwards and outwards flights, and you definately need flights not bus tickets. They def gave out double entries but I didnt ask about a triple.
We never ask for the inward flight as if you mean by the flight to Thailand.
But we do very strict on the outward flight from Thailand.
Your wrong information can get people misunderstand.
Thank you,
