I am a bit late to this thread but consider this. You arrive at a Airport have your prints scanned, pass Immigration and you are stopped and relieved of your shiny new IPhone which uses Fingerprint ID. It is not a great stretch of the imagination to think that there are not already people figuring how to use a 3D printer to regenerate your fingerprint scans. This simply removes the need for them to demand that you provide you Social Media passwords. People simply do not understand Big Data!!

Install one of the free Linux OS eg Ubuntu or Xubuntu. Install it side by side with your XP. With XP as your option of first Boot system. Boot Ubuntu or Xubuntu when every you want to use Skype.

Being an Australian, on my second visit to Thailand in 1995 I went to look at the supposed "Bridge over the River Kwai" In those days there was a small Museum with odds and sods nothing of any real significance, but there was a fairly prominent Plaque which listed all the Nationalities that had been "INVITED" to help construct the Railway. As an example, on the ABC Web Site this morning. 27-year-old woman has been charged with --- "travelling on a part of the train not intended for travel" OK fair enough, she is stupid, but charge her with fare evasion or trespass. You really have to wonder at the mentality of some-one who would sit down and take the time to officially formulate and place a charge like that into legislation.

A Postman friend of mine once told me that the most effective way to deter a Dog was a Water Pistol filled with Cloudy Ammonia. It was not neccessary to even get it on the Dogs head. Just the upper body or neck. Once they smell it they then sniff it. Then they are gone!!

As it says. Looking for a few reputable Companies for quotes. Does anybody have any recommendations or horror stories of what to avoid.

Does anybody know where to buy these in BKK? The type I am looking for is a Yagi style about 25db Gain. They are listed on E-Bay at about US$20. But of course, no vendor want to ship to Thailand. I have never seen them in Pantip but have seen them attached to buildings in BKK so they are available. The question is where?
