  1. I'm thinking of having internet tv (ilikehd) but need an Android box, do you know if ''open box'' is the same?

Had enough of True but I really don't understand about these things, thank you kindly for your help

  2. British embassy does not require Ministry of Foreign Affairs stamp, just the stamp of the translator. We used Chiang Mai University Language Institute for the translation of birth certificate then a small shop on the west bank of the river just north of the Holiday Inn bridge, close to the "ghost house".

Having said that, the OP asked for birth registration at the embassy. In the case of the UK, there really seemed no benefit to spending all that money on registering the birth with the UK authorities, we went straight to passport application. Don't know what nationality the OP is.

    Hi Naboo,

    Thanks for the info.

I am Brit and wifey and baby Thai, as my baby is not likely to need a passport for many years I thought it better to have her registered in UK and can then apply for a passport any time also I am very old and it could be more difficult for the wife to apply when I have left this world, plus I understand there may be other beneficial reasons to register as opposed to just a passport?

    Any more advice is welcome.

    James

  5. Hi Guys,

I have just moved to Chiang Mai province, beautiful area, and have tried to find any farang meeting place, coffee shop or somewhere in the Saraphee area to meet with other expats.

I basicaly live alone and don't like to travel far from home so if anybody knows of such places or any advice I would be very grateful.

  6. Hi guys,

I have recently bought a house in Chiang Mai complete with a natural fish pond about 800 sq. metres and 2m deep, at present it is stocked with Pla Nin fish mostly about 6-8 inches long.

My problem is that I don't want these fish (I prefer Koi), so what is the best and easiet way to remove them?

also the pond is a British racing green colour and has been for 6 months now, how is it possible to get it clear so I would be able to see the Koi.

    Thank you for your help,.
